Talent Tracker: Who’s going where 07/02/20

The digital industry isn’t really about technology, it’s about people. Talent, the hunt for talent and its retention are the bedrock of the industry. NDA’s Talent Tracker column provides a regular update on which companies are recruiting who and from where.

Mandy Rayment has been appointed as Publicis Media Director of Communications for the UK. Rayment will be responsible for leading all internal and external communications for Publicis Media and its agencies, which includes Digitas, Performics, Spark Foundry, Starcom and Zenith.

She joins from Dentsu Aegis Network where she held numerous senior roles over a 12-year period, most recently as Director of Communications and Marketing for the UK & Ireland. 

Quantcast has announced Louise Briggs as Client Partnerships Director. Briggs has nearly18 years’ experience in the adtech industry and joins Quantcast from RadiumOne where she led their sales and account management teams.

Starcom has promoted Claire Kula to Managing Partner, responsible for leading client strategy across clients including Lidl, AXA, Alcon and Novartis in the UK. She reports into Starcom UK MD Nadine Young, who begun the role in June.

Global marketing services business APS Group has made two new senior appointments. Danny Turnbull joins as Group Head of Agency Services from Stein IAS, where he was EMEA Managing Director. James Lawton-Hill joins as Marketing Director after nearly five years in the professional services industry as well as a number of senior marketing roles at Brother UK and Chime Communications.

Rackspace has appointed Martin Blackburn as its new Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. As EMEA MD, Martin will be responsible for the company’s strategy and developments across the region. He joins with more than 35 years’ experience having held positions at Marconi, Logica, HP, EDS and IBM. He replaces Darren Norfolk, who departs the business after 13 years.

Regtech company ComplyAdvantage, has announced the appointment of Vatsa Narasimha as

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Narasimha is the former President and CEO of online foreign exchange trading platform OANDA Global Corporation (OANDA).

 Digital experience platform provider Acquia has appointed a Tom Bianchi as Vice President of EMEA Marketing. Bianchi previously worked as the Senior Marketing Director for Software AG and the Director of Corporate Marketing at Snow Software.

Project management technology provider Workfront ®, has appointed James Murray as Vice President and MD of EMEA. With more than 25 years; experience in IT, he joins from Acquia was he was general manager.

Ad agency Lucky Generals has hired former Grey London Deputy Head of Strategy Ruth Chadwick as Strategy Director. Prior to joining Lucky Generals she spent two years working as a freelance strategist for companies including Headspace. Before that she was Deputy Head of Strategy at Grey London.

Bristol-based integrated digital marketing agency, Loom, has appointed Laurence Matone as SEO Executive to bolster its SEO team. Matone has two years’ experience in the digital industry and has worked on clients including Siemens, Rangemaster and NEFF.

Former Clicktale CMO Sara Richter has recently joined B2C marketing automation company Emarsys as Executive Vice President of Marketing. Before Emarsys, Richter oversaw the acquisition of behavioural analytics firm Clicktale to Contentsquare.
