Marsha Powell is founder of BelEve UK, a girl-focused charity working with 8 to 18-year-old girls to help maximise their potential and celebrate their achievements.

Who is your digital hero?

Tamu Thomas.

What has she done to win hero status in your eyes?

Tamu has launched an online membership, Everyday Joy Membership, that is underpinned with Joy and Sisterhood.

Its mission is to give women 40+ a safe place to just be, grow in confidence and become a part of a flourishing community.

How has her heroism helped drive digital?

Tamu’s authenticity has brought joy to the this blooming digital space, giving women a new sense of Sisterhood and conscious purpose.

What the biggest challenges in digital we need another hero to solve?

We need more women advocating for diversity in the digital influencers space as today it is oh so white.

What is your most heroic personal achievement so far in digital?

I have used digital marketing to grow my Girlhood community.

Being where the girls are at and using imagery that connects with their aspirations has been significant in our growth.
