Times Media has appointed Leah Herlihy as Director of Events as it looks to further build its successful live events portfolio. Previously Events Director at The Spectator, Leah will be responsible for developing and implementing an enhanced events strategy across The Times, The Sunday Times and Times Radio. The newly created Director of Events role will encompass the brands’ consumer events as well as the growing portfolio of successful B2B events, including the CEO Summit and Tech Summit. Reporting in to Times Media Commercial Director, Caroline Tredget, and Times Media’s General Manager, Tracy Yaverbaun, Leah will work across commercial, editorial and customer stakeholders to develop an integrated events strategy for brand clients.

VerifyMy, the online safety technology leader, has announced the appointment of Emma Robert-Tissot as its Head of Marketing. In this role, Robert-Tissot will lead the company’s global marketing strategy to drive international growth and advance VerifyMy’s vision to safeguard children and society online. As its Head of Marketing, Robert-Tissot’s expertise will help drive VerifyMy’s next stage of growth, playing a pivotal role in shaping its marketing strategy. She will work with new and existing partners across a diverse portfolio of sectors including social media, video sharing and online video gaming platforms, adult entertainment and e-commerce sites (such as alcohol, tobacco or adult content).  Adding to her extensive marketing experience, Robert-Tissot has previously worked at YouGov – an international online research data and analytics firm. There, she was the product marketing lead across their full suite of tech-led products, where she owned go-to-market plans, driving growth and revenue for products. 

MiQ, a global specialist in programmatic media, has announced the appointment of Niall Murtagh as Sales Director for Ireland, officially launching the company into the market. Murtagh brings over 15 years of local market experience across the digital media landscape from his time at Electric Media and Packed House. He has represented notable international companies including Microsoft and Yahoo and prominent publishers such as the Irish Times and – monetising their Irish audiences. Murtagh’s extensive experience has also garnered valuable insights on the particular needs of Irish brands. As Sales Director, Murtagh’s role will focus on market expansion in Ireland, fostering strong relationships with both brands and agencies across the country. MiQ will be powering their solutions using geo-contextual data specific to the Irish market, mirroring the product roadmap in existing locations. MiQ’s Advanced TV and Cookieless solutions will be the immediate focuses in Ireland. Ltd., the multi-product platform that runs all core aspects of work, has announced the appointment of Pierre Berlin as General Manager (GM) of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This new role is part of’s hybrid regional structure, which empowers individual markets while providing a strong connection to core global functions, supports the company’s upmarket motion, and strengthens its global leadership. Berlin has over 25 years of experience and held leadership roles at Figma, Mixpanel, and LinkedIn, where he was primarily focused on building and scaling each organization’s regional teams. At, Berlin will oversee the company’s go-to-market (GTM) strategy in EMEA and will be based out of its European headquarters in London. Berlin’s main priorities include expanding’s presence across markets and verticals, fostering key partnerships, and bolstering its enterprise offering in the region.

The Kite Factory has promoted two long-standing senior executives as it further bolsters its leadership offering. Ben Foster, formerly Managing Partner, Digital, becomes Chief Digital Officer while Jonathan Leech, formerly Managing Partner, Commercial, is named Chief Commercial Officer. The duo, who are both board members of The Kite Factory, have been with the agency for nine and ten years, respectively. These are newly created roles and will report into CEO James Smith. Foster will continue to lead the agency’s digital innovation while developing its programmatic offering, creative iteration product Kite Studio, and data proposition. He will also continue to work with existing and prospective clients, providing strategic expertise and support. Meanwhile, Leech will continue to lead trading across all channels, ensuring the delivery of the most cost-effective pricing for clients while driving the development of new revenue opportunities and product development across the business’s suite of tools, technology, and talent. He will continue expanding the agency’s remuneration approach to facilitate an expanding suite of services, maximising value for clients and shareholders. The changes also include the promotion of Gabby Krite, formerly Head of Digital, to Head of Operations, who will broaden her remit within the agency once she returns from the sabbatical.

Epicor, a global specialist in industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, has announced it has appointed Steve O’Keeffe as Regional Vice President, UK&I. O’Keeffe will be responsible for leading Epicor’s sales and go-to-market strategy across the UK&I, driving growth and customer success for the make, move, and sell industries in the region. O’Keeffe brings over 20 years of experience in fast growing business software, including roles at Oracle, 7bridges, RightNow technologies, and He has extensive national and international sales experience, leading high-performing teams and building direct and channel models.

Specialist engineering and science PR agency Stone Junction has hired experienced medical technology news editor Ian Bolland as an account manager as part of the company’s growth plans. The Stafford-based agency has hired Bolland to bring his expertise in MedTech journalism, podcasting and trade shows. Bolland joins after five-and-a-half years working on life sciences titles, notably as editor of Med-Tech Innovation News, as well as overseeing Medical Plastics News, hosting the MedTalk Podcast and contributing to European Pharmaceutical Manufacturer magazine. His previous experience aligns closely with Stone Junction’s client roster, many of which operate in the MedTech sector.
