On the 1st October, NDA’s Media Pride Lunch, in partnership with The Independent and 59a, and our long term initiative partner Outvertisng, will proudly return for a third year to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community working in advertising & marketing.
Part of our ongoing Media Pride initiative, it’s an afternoon of food, drinks and great conversation to give those within the community – and their allies – a way to come together and support the great people in this industry.
As well as the lunch we’ll be kicking off with a fabulous panel session, including speakers from across the industry and hosted by our very own NDA editor, Justin Pearse. Previous speakers have included Laura Jordan Bambach past D&AD President, co-founder of SheSays and OKO, Marty Davies, Cultural strategist, activist, Campaign columnist and founder of Trans+ History Week, Jerry Daykin, WFA Diversity Ambassador and Chris Dunne, Head of Marketing at Thinkbox and Joint CEO for Outvertising.
We work in an industry full of individuals. It is an industry that should be open to anyone – regardless of background, gender or sexuality – and so let’s come together and reinforce that!
