Disruptive mobile marketing platform, Bubbl, has appointed Taz Hossain as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Ollie Aynsley as Head of Commercial, as the business continues to onboard talent following a recent, significant funding round. In the newly created role of CRO, Taz Hossain will drive revenue and growth, building Bubbl’s Channel Partnership customer base, bringing its disruptive tech to more clients across sectors such as transport, retail and events, as the go-to mobile marketing platform for these industries. An expert in connecting digital technologies to disruptive retail experiences, he was most recently at Newable, advising hundreds of companies as an Innovation and Growth Specialist. As Head of Commercial, Ollie Aynsley will help to drive the implementation of strategies, aligning product and sales teams, onboarding new customers and developing scalable processes. Having worked in a variety of industries, and run an app development company for three years, he helped to grow the company from a standing start to £2M a year in revenue.

Pipedrive, the global sales-first CRM and intelligent revenue platform for small businesses, announced the appointment of Sean Evers as Vice President of Sales, and the addition of two marketing executives. James Stoker joined Pipedrive as Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Heni Hazbay as Vice President of Demand Generation Marketing. Evers brings nearly two decades of sales experience to Pipedrive working at companies, including Funding Circle UK where he served as Head of Global Sales, Fluidly and Sage where he was Vice President of Sales, and Pitney Bowes and Spicerhaart as Director of Sales Operations respectively. Stoker joins Pipedrive to head up brand, packaging and pricing, and product marketing. He has over 20 years of global brand and marketing experience in the technology, media, telecoms and financial services sectors. He joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was responsible for managing the brands of the UK’s largest domestic banking group. Hazbay comes to Pipedrive from Vodafone where he served as Global Head of Digital Marketing and Sales where he was responsible for strategy and execution of commercial digital programs and e-commerce.

Global independent marketing agency group The Miroma Group has appointed Hannah Watson into the newly established role of Director of Marketing and Communications, to lead and build out its marketing and communications department and support the group’s growth ambitions. Watson joins with a wealth of experience from her time at digital publisher and marketing agency Jungle Creations where she established the marketing and communications department, growing the team to eight people during her five years there. 

Wi-Fi Alliance® announced the appointment of Kevin Robinson as President and Chief Executive Officer. Robinson will assume the role on 20 October 2022, upon the retirement of Edgar Figueroa. Robinson is a 15-year veteran of Wi-Fi Alliance and stands uniquely poised to lead the organisation’s 900+ member companies in its next chapter of global impact. Serving as Wi-Fi Alliance’s VP of Marketing for the last 7 years, Robinson has led many of the organisation’s most transformative initiatives and has been a leading ambassador for promoting Wi‑Fi and Wi‑Fi Alliance as a collaboration forum worldwide. Prior to joining Wi-Fi Alliance, Robinson served as a Captain in the Infantry of the United States Army.

Consumer intelligence platform Talkwalker announces two appointments to its senior leadership team, global CEO Lokdeep Singh and global CMO David Low. The latest appointees, who were both promoted from within, will continue to drive Talkwalker’s expansion strategy, maintaining a focus on growth and profitability. Lokdeep’s expansive career includes key leadership roles around the world, with Alcatel, Qualcomm, Lucent Technologies, Worldcell, and more recently in Luxembourg with Syniverse and Synchronoss. Since joining Talkwalker last year, Lokdeep previously served as EVP and Chief Product Officer. David Low is appointed the new global CMO for Talkwalker, having joined as the VP of Marketing for the Americas earlier this year. He will be responsible for positioning Talkwalker as the leader in AI-enabled consumer intelligence and creating personal, authentic connections with its customers.

72andSunny has hired JT Pierce to take on the new role of Managing Director in New York, in a further boost to its senior leadership team in North America. Pierce joins from on-demand delivery platform DoorDash where he co-led their Creative Studio. In this new role, he will lead and drive the performance and growth of 72andSunny NYC, from the people and their output, to the impact the work makes for clients. Pierce is a highly experienced industry leader and has held both agency and client-side positions. Prior to joining DoorDash, Pierce was Managing Director at Argonaut working with brands including FitBit, Ubisoft, AT&T and NerdWallet. He has also worked at Deloitte Digital/Heat and Sony PlayStation. 

Bidstack, the in-game advertising and video game monetization platform, has announced that Camila Franklin joins the company from AdColony as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Lisa Hau will step up to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) following two and a half years in the COO role. Camila Franklin brings more than two decades of gaming, mobile marketing and advertising technology experience to Bidstack. She was previously COO at AdColony, one of the largest gaming monetization platforms in the world, with a reach of more than 1.4 billion users. Franklin was also named one of The Top Women Leaders in SaaS in 2020 and was a Bronze Stevie Award winner for Woman of the Year in the business services industry in 2021. The addition of Camila Franklin as day-to-day operational lead will allow Lisa Hau to turn her full attention to strategy, corporate development, and commercial partnerships as CSO. A former head of investor relations at WPP, Jefferies Internet & Media analyst, and qualified Chartered Accountant, Hau will remain a member of Bidstack’s Board of Directors, steering the company in this critical growth period.

Digital agency Organic has announced the appointment of Natalia Wieczorek as the agency’s new Strategic Account Director. Reporting into Tim Burley, Head of Client Services at Organic, Wieczorek is joining the team from performance marketing agency Highrise, where she was Growth Strategist. Bringing in over a decade of experience in tech start-ups, global corporations, boutique agencies and eCommerce brands, Wieczorek will oversee multiple accounts at the agency including CILEX, Improve International, and Gas Safe Register. In the past, she has worked on notable accounts for multi-million-dollar luxury fashion, coffee, and jewellery brands, in various strategic and client-facing roles.

UK social creative agency THE FIFTH, known for its viral creator marketing campaigns, has announced its global expansion into the North American market with the hire of experienced agency veteran Charles Ifegwu as its US Managing Director. With over 17 years of experience leading marketing, creative, entertainment and agency operations, Ifegwu joins THE FIFTH from MOCEAN, where he led the client partnerships team. At THE FIFTH, he will be charged with driving US growth leaning on his own and THE FIFTH’s reputation within the entertainment and technology sectors.

Motorola has appointed Jutta Peinze as Marketing Director for the EMEA Mobile Business Group (MBG). Peinze has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, joining MBG following being the Marketing Director at Asus. Before Asus, Peinze garnered an impressive wealth of experience within the mobile industry, having previously held roles at Nokia and Huawei. In her role at Motorola, Peinze will be instrumental in accelerating the momentum of the EMEA MBG business as the brand develops its growth strategy.

Expedia Group announced the appointment of Brad Bentley as Chief Operating Officer of Expedia Brands and Tript Singh Lamba as Senior Vice President of Consumer Product for Expedia Product & Technology. Brad Bentley joins Expedia Group from Inspire, a clean energy technology company, where he was CEO and President. Before leading that business, he was with WarnerMedia, where he served as the General Manager and EVP of direct-to-consumer products and product development. Tript Singh Lamba comes to Expedia Group from Google where he was head of Product for YouTube Ad Monetization and User Personalization. Before that, he led a product management group at Microsoft responsible for connectivity and a two-sided marketplace, positioning him perfectly to navigate Expedia’s two-sided marketplace.
