TheSoul Publishing, an award-winning digital studio recognized for its globally engaging and original content, has announced a significant leadership transition. Aleksandra Sulimko, previously the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. In her new role, Sulimko will focus on enhancing TheSoul’s operational strategies and management practices, furthering the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Sulimko brings a wealth of experience to the COO role, having previously spearheaded efficient team and process development at TheSoul Publishing. Her expertise in fostering a robust company culture and driving significant corporate initiatives has been pivotal in the company’s global scaling efforts. Sulimko’s transition from CHRO to COO is a testament to her profound impact on TheSoul’s operations and growth.

Cannes-winning creatives move to VCCP London as part of a significant expansion, announced today, with five new hires joining the UK’s biggest creative agency, following a sustained period of global growth and new business wins. New talent joining the agency include Creative Director, Frances Leach; Senior Creatives, Filipe Birck and James Lucking-Pham; and Midweight Creative Team, Alice Goodrich and Lara Baxter. All five will start immediately. Between them the creatives have scooped numerous awards, with duo Birck and Lucking-Pham grabbing recent attention and plaudits for a 300sq ft IKEA bag on Oxford Street to add to a Cannes Lion award for work with Uber Eats, Leach was also successful at Cannes Lions in 2023 with ‘Baby Scan’ for Marmite. In the past year, VCCP London has continued to grow and has won new creative accounts from clients including Primark, Keep Britain Tidy, Chilly’s and Allwyn. The integrated agency has continued to create award winning work for fabric of Britain brands including Cadbury and Walkers as well as challenger brands including White Claw, Domino’s and Virgin Media O2. Multi-award-winning Creative Director, Frances Leach joins from adam&eveddb. Her Marmite ‘Baby Scan’, won two Golds and two Bronze awards at Cannes and a Campaign Big Award. She also created Temptations ‘Pack Attack’ with her then partner Chris Bowsher, where 15 cats were let loose on a box of Temptations to prove their irresistibility. It was one of Campaign’s top ten print ads of the year and picked up awards at D&AD, Cannes, Campaign Big and Eurobest. Whilst at DLKW Lowe she also won a Cannes Lion for Domestos. Rising stars Filipe Birck and James Lucking-Pham join from Mother where they were responsible for the Gold Film Lion winning Uber Eats ‘Do Less’ campaign and also set tongues wagging and picked up numerous awards for creating a huge 300 sq ft IKEA bag on Oxford Street as part of an OOH build, picking up a Campaign Big Award. They also worked across clients including KFC and The Wall Street Journal. Alice Goodrich and Lara Baxter join from Anomaly and have already won a pitch in their first few weeks. Outside of work, they created the #DeadElfs campaign to tackle the problem of disposable vape litter.

Billion Dollar Boy, the global creator agency, introduces three key new hires in the US market to strengthen its operations and regional presence amid rapid global growth forecast to exceed 30% this financial year. Marie La France has been appointed Vice President of Growth, reporting directly to Permele Doyle, Founder and President of Billion Dollar Boy, in the New Orleans office. She is tasked with identifying new business opportunities to expand the agency’s US client base, with a focus on innovation and partnerships. La France brings a wealth of experience in senior Strategy and Growth positions, including her most recent role as Vice President of Strategy at Dash Hudson, a social media management platform. During her tenure, she developed and implemented strategies across revenue-generating departments and built strategic relationships with platform partners and brand customers spanning fashion, beauty, retail and CPG. Assuming the role of Senior Director of Marketing, Christine Göös oversees integrated marketing across content, communications, social and events in the US. Göös reports to Becky Owen, Global Chief Marketing Officer, and is based out of New York City. With 13 years of industry experience, the veteran marketer enters her new position having recently served in brand marketing and creative roles at TBWA and Power Digital. Prior to these, Göös built content and marketing practices for advertising SaaS giants Celtra and Smartly.io, priming them for successful acquisitions in 2017 and 2019. Emily Brown joins Billion Dollar Boy as Senior Manager of Strategy where she takes on the strategic ownership of campaigns from the briefing stage through post-campaign analysis. Reporting to Simon Harwood, the Global Performance Director, her role is based in the New York City office. In her most recent position as Account Supervisor of Social Strategy at Edelman, the global communications firm, Brown supervised the creative briefing, development and production of social media campaigns. In this role, she spearheaded social strategy for Samsung’s global TikTok presence and worked with renowned brands like Volkswagen USA, KFC and Prudential.

Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, has announced that Brad Burns is joining the company as Chief Communications Officer. In his new role, Burns will be responsible for Snowflake’s communications strategy, advising the company’s leadership as Snowflake continues to grow and scale as a technology leader. Burns joins Snowflake from Salesforce where he was Chief Communications Officer. He has two decades of experience providing communications counsel to executive teams in highly competitive industries, especially around global communications, high-visibility product launches, financial and M&A communications, and issues management.

Emplifi, the customer engagement platform, has announced Ohad Hecht as its new CEO. Hecht takes over the top leadership position during a pivotal time for Emplifi as the company transitions from “build-mode” into an accelerated growth phase. As CEO, Hecht will be focused on three primary pillars: cultivating a winning culture that fosters performance, respect, innovation, teamwork, and passion; embracing a customer-centric strategy that places customers at the core of every decision; and, continuing to build a best-in-class, innovative customer engagement solution that is easy-to-use while delivering a quick time to value. Prior to taking over the top leadership role at Emplifi, Hecht was the co-founder and CEO for Prodport, a personalization solution for eCommerce brands that automates the development of personalized product pages.

International Digital Marketing Partner, Incubeta, has announced the appointment of Alex Langshur as the CEO of its operations in the Americas. Langshur, an accomplished professional with a rich history in the martech industry, takes the helm at a time when Incubeta US is poised for significant growth and data-driven transformation in the digital marketing landscape. Prior to joining Incubeta, Langshur was the Global Google Alliance Chief Growth Officer, focused on services and sales across the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This followed the acquisition of Cardinal Path, a market-leading data analytics and digital marketing consultancy, which was co-founded by Langshur and went on to become one of Dentsu’s best-performing acquisitions and the world’s top reseller of Google Analytics 360.

Teads, the global media platform, has announced the appointment of Damien Islam-Frenoy as Chief Technology Officer, reporting to Co-CEO Jeremy Arditi. Based in Teads’ Paris offices, Islam-Frenoy will helm Teads’ technology innovation and strategy, IT infrastructure, and strategic technology partnerships. His 25 years of experience delivering large scale software systems, AI-based optimization algorithms, and compelling user experiences will bring further thought-leadership as Teads doubles down on expanded CTV, data, creative optimization, and performance advertising offerings. Islam-Frenoy comes to Teads from Amazon where he most recently served as Director of Global Product Management & Software Engineering, responsible for the software critical to the flow of all Amazon packages. In this role, he led a 200+ person organization, overseeing software engineering, DevOps, product management, and data science.
