Agents of Change is our annual ranking of the brand-side marketers who make a difference, as voted for by the people who see their impact up close.
The industry is full of “Top Marketer” lists, often compiled by editorial teams looking in from the outside. While these lists feature many brilliant people, they can sometimes overlook a vital truth: the best work in marketing doesn’t happen in theory; it happens in practice.
At New Digital Age, we wanted to recognise the marketers who actually deliver the goods, the ones who back bold ideas, who champion innovation, and who drive work that truly delivers, for both their brand and their customers.
To identify them, we turned to the people who see this in action every day: the agency leaders who help bring those ideas to life. They know which clients push boundaries, make decisions, take risks, and foster the kind of collaboration that turns ambition and innovation into reality.
Senior figures from across media, digital, and performance agencies will be invited to nominate up to three brand-side marketers they believe are true Agents of Change. Each nomination will include a short statement explaining why that marketer stands out, focusing on their ability to enable, drive, and deliver exceptional work.
A panel of around 20 respected agency leaders, including CEOs, CSOs, Managing Directors, and Client Partners, will review the full list of nominations and vote for the marketers they believe most deserve recognition. The NDA editorial team will manage the process independently to ensure fairness and transparency.
The Agents of Change Top 50 will be revealed in a special feature on New Digital Age, highlighting the brand-side marketers most responsible for driving innovative, effective, and exciting work. The Top 10 will receive extended editorial features exploring what makes them stand out as genuine leaders of progress and delivery.
Each marketer featured will be individually profiled on New Digital Age, telling the story of their approach, impact, and the results they have achieved with their agency partners. The list will be celebrated at an exclusive NDA event bringing together both the winning marketers and the agency leaders who nominated them, focusing on how true partnership drives real innovation.
Agents of Change will become an ongoing editorial platform, with NDA publishing interviews, panels, and roundtables throughout the year exploring how the industry’s best marketers and agencies collaborate to create work that delivers tangible results.
