Could we lie to you? A new event from Newsworks and NDA

New Digital Age in partnership with Newsworks, is hosting a unique comedy experience, where we’ll try and sort true from false and rumour from reality

Taking place at 6 pm on the 27th of April at The Box in Manchester, the event takes a wry look at the world of fake news and misinformation.

The fantastic Rob Mayhew will host a panel of leading journalists over a series of quick-fire rounds consisting of some actual facts and many made-up lies which have kept the NDA team occupied for weeks.

Facing the fake news spotlight will be Claie Wilson, assistant editor of The Metro, Josh Halliday, northern correspondent for The Guardian and Charlotte Ivers, columnist, The Sunday Times and political correspondent of Times Radio.

The event is free to NDA readers and the digital media industry.

If you’d like to join us please RSVP to CWLTY@bluestripegroup.co.uk and if you’d like to bring a colleague please let us know.
