Robin Skidmore, founder and CEO at Journey Further has announced their plans for US expansion after outstanding 2020 growth. He comments “International expansion is something we have been considering for a while as an agency, and I’m incredibly excited to be opening our first office in New York in Q3 as we look to roll out our approach to performance marketing across the US.”

Pan European consumer and B2B technology, lifestyle and gaming communication specialists, Ranieri Agency, has announced its appointment by De’Longhi UK. Ranieri will oversee a comprehensive communications strategy for the full roster of brands within the UK subsidiary, De’Longhi, Kenwood and Braun Household.

NoA (The North Alliance) has announced the launch of NoA Ignite. Through its holistic approach and multidisciplinary collaboration between each sister company, NoA Ignite will lead brands through their entire digital growth journey, combining the deep technical knowledge of each agency together with the needs of the brand, consumer insights, creative excellence, data and technology. The group’s main focus will be on driving sustainable growth for its clients through e-commerce, digital service platforms, engagement and optimisation, and business innovation. Early clients include Co-op, Electrolux, Telenor, and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).

Martech agency Byte has announced that it has joined international digital agency Dept. Byte’s Co-Founder, Alex Miller, commented: “We’ve become part of Dept to accelerate global growth and supercharge our tech offer with access to over 500 engineers across the world. We’re excited to help Dept achieve its vision of becoming the leading digital agency in the world.”

AMEC, the international association for the measurement and evaluation of communication, is launching a global mentoring programme to create serious change within communications industry measurement, increase knowledge and improve best practice standards. The programme will pair senior decision-makers and future leaders within PR and marketing – both agency and in-house – with one of an expert panel of mentors, who will be available to support mentees and their organisations. Through mentoring, AMEC aims to shift the communications industry towards greater accountability and focus on better planning and measurement of commercial outcomes. Over a three-month period, mentors will have three or four meetings with mentees, give advice and guidance to achieve objectives, help with networking, and signpost training and key resources. Mentoring is also a gateway into the AMEC community, and mentees will benefit from the support offered to both agency and in-house professionals through training, webinars and other resources.

Content improvement specialists React & Share have created a campaign looking into the impact customer reviews can have on a business. With many businesses relying on online revenue to stay a success and keep trading during the many lockdowns and restrictions during the pandemic, having a positive online platform can help make a business. There are over 1.1 trillion reviews/ratings on Trustpilot, and just one of those negative pieces of feedback can cost a business up to 22% of its customers. React and Share has produced some unique designs to showcase the brands who have been listening and taking on board customer feedback well, as well as bringing some brands back to life to portray how they would look now if they had listened to their own reviews.

Digital agency Organic has announced its appointment by British heritage furniture and interior retailer Habitat, to manage the brand’s SEO. The news comes following the agency’s appointment by Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd at the beginning of the year. Having worked with Sainsbury’s Argos for nearly five years, Organic’s success in delivering dynamic SEO solutions has led to this further appointment within the Sainsbury’s Argos Group. Organic will develop the brand’s SEO capabilities by empowering the Habitat team to help drive SEO success by putting it at the centre of ecommerce, alongside providing best-in-class recommendations and support to achieve Sainsbury’s Natural Search objectives.

Publicis Groupe UK announces the acquisition of B2B marketing specialist agency Octopus Group. Octopus Group will join Publicis Groupe UK’s existing B2B specialists to bring strategic, creative, technology and commercial acumen and experience to clients and B2B brands. The Farringdon-based agency will move to Publicis Groupe UK’s Chancery Lane offices and will sit alongside agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Digitas.
