IMPACT+, a global pioneer in helping advertisers reduce the environmental impact of their digital ad campaigns, has announced that Sam Frost has joined the company as its new Senior Sales Manager, Brands & Agencies, UK and Northern Europe. Frost, who has worked in the digital media industry for over eight years, will be responsible for expanding the tech platform’s commercial partnerships and driving growth, particularly across the UK market. Frost’s wide range of experience across the digital media and SaaS sector, including ad tech, programmatic, social, creative production and AI-driven MarTech, will be crucial in helping the company grow. Prior to joining IMPACT+, he worked as a Business Development Manager at Genius Sports, an industry-leading media and fan engagement platform, and as a Senior Sales Manager at Spirable, a data-driven creative platform, where he worked with companies including Google, Mondelez and Vodafone.
Starcom has announced the promotion of Louise Peacocke to Chief Client Officer (CCO). In the new role, Peacocke will retain her current responsibilities leading the Media team at PG One (the dedicated P&G account team within Publicis Groupe), as well as taking on new responsibilities, managing overall Starcom client relationships. Peacocke will be responsible for leading initiatives to further embed client relationships and to ensure Starcom’s success as a key strategic media partner as the industry evolves. Working closely with Starcom’s senior leadership team, she will oversee the multi-discipline teams to deliver brilliant client service, fuelling growth through client engagement strategies. Peacocke will continue to report into both Nadine Young, CEO of Starcom UK, and Jayne Roseman, Global Managing Director for PG One (Media). Alongside Roseman, Peacocke will ensure the smooth running of the media arm of the Publicis Groupe Power of One team which integrates media, creative, influencer, production, and data for P&G. Peacocke has been at Starcom for five years, most recently as UK Managing Director for PG One which she was appointed to in September 2020. She joined Publicis Media from Mediacom and has 20+ years’ experience of leading client teams in both the UK and US. She has a track record of managing key relationships for major clients including Direct Line Group, Sky, PUIG, Kraft Heinz and Lionsgate.
Forter, the Trust Platform for digital commerce, has announced the appointment of Anthony Barsoom as chief financial officer and Jim Howard as vice president of sales in the Americas. Barsoom has a track record of leading finance and strategy for some of the largest digital businesses. Most recently, he served as head of finance for Zoom where he led the company’s post-pandemic initiatives to increase sustainable profitability. Previously, he was the CEO of fabric.com, an Amazon subsidiary. Before that, he was with The Home Depot for nearly a decade serving in various leadership positions, including as the CFO of the Northern Division. Howard joins Forter with nearly 25 years of experience growing successful sales and operations teams for enterprise SaaS companies. Most recently, he was vice president of sales, Americas for Tufin leading sales, pre-sales and channel teams. He’s also held key leadership positions at VMWare, Pivotal Software and CA Technologies.

BlackLine, Inc. has announced that Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and intelligent automation industry veteran Sumit Johar has joined the company as chief information officer (CIO), effective Feb. 12th. Reporting to Co-CEO Therese Tucker, Johar will oversee Information Technology and Information Security globally for the digital finance transformation leader. Johar comes to BlackLine with more than 20 years of enterprise cloud experience spanning applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance and engineering, and automation. He most recently served as CIO at Automation Anywhere, a leading provider of AI-powered intelligent automation solutions. Previously he was CIO at enterprise mobile security provider MobileIron where in just his first two years, he significantly reduced operational costs while making room for digital transformation initiatives. Before that, he led Enterprise Applications at TIBCO Software for 10 years and also has held management-level consulting and engineering positions at Wipro and Infosys.
