Time Out Group has announced that Mary Keane-Dawson has joined as CEO of Time Out Media, with immediate effect. Based in London and reporting into Time Out Group CEO Chris Ohlund, Keane-Dawson will lead Time Out’s Media business globally, managing its commercial and content teams, implementing a new consumer and partner focussed business strategy whilst driving efficiency and improving economic returns. With 25 years of experience, most recently Keane-Dawson was Group CEO of influencer marketing platform TAKUMI, and prior to that was European MD of Neo@Ogilvy, holding a main Board position of Ogilvy & Mather. Previous positions include Interim CEO at award-winning design and UX agency Collective London; MD at Steak Media; and Worldwide MD at SPAFAX, leading its global commercial capability growth before selling to WPP Group after leading a successful MBO.
Global affiliate marketing platform Awin, has appointed its first Chief Customer Officer (CCO), David Lloyd, to support the company’s customer-centric vision. In the newly created role, Lloyd is responsible for overseeing every aspect of Awin’s customer experience, leading the company’s Regional Managers and Global Publisher, Account Management, Operations, New Business, Marketing & PR teams. With previous roles at Alibaba and Google, Lloyd brings valuable digital marketing, retail, and tech experience to support Awin’s ambitions. Lloyd joined Alibaba in 2016, quickly progressing to UK and Nordics Managing Director, and then to General Manager UK, Netherlands, and Nordics. Lloyd played a crucial role in growing the group’s operations in the region, working with hundreds of European brands across ecommerce, payments and cloud.
Criteo has announced the appointment of Ryan Cook as Managing Director, UK. In this role, Cook will be responsible for setting the local strategy and vision for the market, developing new products to grow both the new and existing portfolio of accounts across all Criteo business streams (Agencies, New Business, Key Account and Core). The role is also focused on helping Criteo work more closely with the media and wider advertising ecosystem, including close links with industry bodies. Cook brings more than 12 years of experience across various roles within the AdTech sector, both in the US and in the UK. During his time at Nexage (now OATH), Cook launched the first Open RTB programmatic platform, helping establish the movement of brands and ad buyers to more transparent, tech-driven advertising. Since then, he has maintained a strong track record within the adtech sector for exceeding revenue goals and delivering high customer service standards. Most recently, he served as Deputy Managing Director at Teads, where he led the launch of a pivotal self-service Ad Manager in Europe and its future-proofing, cookieless solution in the UK market.
Carzam has appointed Edgardo Savoy to the role of Chief Technology Officer. Savoy is known for creating seamless customer experiences – something he has done for consumer brands including Paddy Power and Lastminute.com. He joins from money transfer company TransferGo and has held roles at Lastminute.com, Paddy Power, The Racing Post and The Restaurant Group. Savoy will join the team at Carzam’s new headquarters at Westpoint in Lynch Wood, Peterborough.
History Hit, the fast-growing SVOD and content platform acquired by award-winning Little Dot Studios in 2020, has appointed Bill Locke as Head of Original Programming. Locke joins History Hit after 20-years at All3Media sister company Lion TV, most recently as Director of Specialist Factual. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience working on history, science, archaeology, arts and documentaries for broadcasters worldwide. In recent years Locke has made films for BBC, C4, ITV, C5, Sky, ARTE, France Television, History Channel, National Geographic, Smithsonian, PBS and TRT (Turkey). This news follows on from the promotion of James Carson to Managing Director, effective from the beginning of this year, as well as the recently announced History Hit and Little Dot Studios media partnership on the search for the wreck of Shackleton’s Endurance.

Most recently, Wessels served as Vice President, EMEA Sales, at Elastic where over the past three years, she helped build and orchestrate a successful go to market motion across Europe in key markets. Digital transformation and technical specialist, ddroidd, has appointed two senior experts to strengthen the leadership team and support company growth. Cosmin Cristea joins as Delivery Director and Andrei Avram as Technical Director. Both will form part of the senior management team (SMT) and have an important role in the future development and growth of ddroidd. With more than 20 years’ experience, Cristea has worked in both technical and management roles, including almost 15 years at Endava in various positions across the business. Medius, a provider of spend management solutions, has announced the appointment of Jeff Swan as its Global Chief Revenue Officer. Swan, a former Oracle NetSuite VP and 20-year SaaS sales veteran, is the latest in a string of senior leadership hires – including CEO Jim Lucier, appointed in September, new CSO Branden Jenkins and CMO Kim Albrecht – charged with spearheading the next phase of the company’s growth. Swan joins Medius from Oracle NetSuite where he spent 17 years in senior leadership, sales and account management roles, rising to Area Vice President for Product-based Industries in November 2018. Global experiential advertising agency Momentum Worldwide has appointed Matt Lewis as its new UK president. Lewis moves from his role of president at Momentum Worldwide Canada to undertake the position. During his six years at Momentum Canada, Lewis won Momentum Worldwide’s first Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Nike’s “Just Do It HQ At The Church” work, and significantly grew the agency. Lewis will replace Luke D’Arcy, who will be moving into a newly created position of EMEA growth officer after being UK president since 2016. Lewis will be relocating to London to take up the position as UK president with immediate effect and will report to Chairman and CEO Chris Weil. As UK president, Lewis will focus on elevating creative and integrated technology to create hybrid experiences such as Momentum Worldwide’s WhiteBox platform, for clients including Microsoft and American Express.

Qlik® has announced that DeLisa Alexander has joined the company’s Board of Directors as its first outside director. Alexander most recently served as EVP and Chief People Officer at Red Hat, where she led the NYSE-listed, S&P 500 organization’s efforts to build an open and unique leadership culture. She directly supported and advised Red Hat’s Board of Directors, with particular focus on executive and equity compensation programs, succession management and corporate governance programs. Over his 20 year career, Katibeh held multiple executive positions at AT&T, including EVP Chief Product & Platform Officer and EVP Chief Marketing Officer of AT&T Business where he oversaw all product and marketing responsibilities, as well as go to market sales for digital, wholesale, and indirect channels – and was recognized as one of the World’s Most Influential CMOs by Forbes for 2019 and 2020.

Mobbie Nazir will move to the position of global chief strategy officer, while Harvey Cossell moves into the chief strategy officer role in the UK.
