M3.agency responded to a string of global client wins by launching its first international office in October last year. NDA spoke to the agency about the choice of location.
The company, which offers expertise in strategy, creative, social, digital and content creation, chose Dubai as the perfect location for its expansion, giving Digital Creative Director Glen Pawson the responsibility of establishing a footprint in the Middle East.
“Dubai has become a genuine digital and innovation hub and is no longer just seen as a regional outpost,” explained Glen, who has taken the decision to relocate his family to one of the world’s fastest growing cities.
“There’s a strong appetite for performance-led, digital platforms and transformation work, whilst I’ve already seen a more ambitious mindset with our clients here. It genuinely feels like there is less legacy baggage, quicker buy-in and greater willingness to invest in digital property.”
He continued: “From an agency perspective, Dubai feels five years ahead in terms of appetite for digital growth, AI, and data-led decision-making.”
M3.agency made the decision to launch in the Middle East to be near decision makers and, operationally, to deliver work at speed. The management team also felt the timing was right to establish a physical presence that would allow the agency to pitch for and win work from fast-scaling businesses across the United Arab Emirates.
“We’ve only been up and running for three months, but we’ve already noticed an increased willingness to engage with us and opportunities with clients across property, jewellery and events,” added Glen.
“This is just the start. Plans are already in place to build our Dubai team so that it mirrors our operations in Wales, Manchester, London and Birmingham.
“Talent is global, expectations are high, and the market rewards agencies that can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.”
