Adform appoints ex-Microsoft Business Development Manager

Media buying platform Adform has hired Katherine Thistlethwaite as Senior Commercial Partnerships Manager.

Thistlethwaite will be responsible for expanding Adform’s global footprint through evangelism of the platform to brands. She will work closely with Adform’s existing partner ecosystem and aim to further develop the platform’s recognition across brand safety, contextual, sustainability, and measurement.

“Adform is leading by example in tackling the evolving and fast-moving issues facing digital advertisers today, whether that be omnichannel activation and optimisation, to changing customer behaviours and sustainability. I am eager to spread awareness to brands of the game-changing ad performance that Adform enables,” said Thistlethwaite.

Thistlethwaite arrives after spending more than 17 years at Microsoft. Most recently, she was Senior Business Development Manager (EMEA) for the tech giant, helping to develop its Search, Ads, and News consumer services and securing partnerships with news publishers and media properties across the UK, Ireland, South Africa, and the Nordics.

Other roles she held at Microsoft during her tenure include Senior Business Development Manager (UK) and Portal Business Manager.

“Katherine’s commercial insight and experience, in building long-term and impactful partnerships across the media ecosystem, fit perfectly with our growth ambitions,” said Vicky Foster, VP Global Commercial Partnerships at Adform. “She will be a key asset to Adform as we continue to scale up our offering globally, strengthening our existing partnerships while forging ahead in new, lucrative business relationships.”
