Sara Davies MBE, entrepreneur and regular on BBC’s Dragons’ Den TV show, is to open NDA’s innovation showcase event Catalyst.
Davies, awarded an MBE for services to the economy, launched a business from her bedroom that is now worth over £34m.
Davies will be interviewed on stage by NDA Editor Justin Pearse on the real meaning of innovation in business.
She joins speakers including Ben & Jerry’s Kerry Thorpe; and author, Visiting Fellow at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Spotify’s former Chief Economist, Will Page, with more speakers to be announced soon.
NDA’s new Catalyst event is designed to be a true innovation showcase, highlighting and celebrating the most exciting innovation in our industry while at the same time examining the very concept of innovation, an often over-used word in the industry.
Featuring talks from a range of high-profile leaders in innovation alongside product showcases, the day is designed to provide a catalyst for attendees’ use of innovation to deliver better consumer experiences, better products and services and simply better businesses.
