Winning in search in the crowded fashion retail market is no small feat, and London-based retail SEO agency, MediaVision, proved its mettle by winning ‘Best Use of Search in Fashion (Large)’ at the 2025 UK Search Awards.
Using its AI-driven ecommerce optimisation platform, Metis, the agency drove New Look to the biggest non-brand SEO gain of any major player in the UK fasion ecommerce market. The campaign delivered a 27% increase in non-brand clicks year-on-year and a 73% uplift in impressions, year-on-year.
Judges suggested that “The clever use of search demand data to inform wider teams is impressive.”
The team used Metis demand data to identify emerging market trends four times faster than competitors. It used its Product Maestro function to solve the operational challenge of manual PLP content creation, saving hundreds of hours for the in-house team. Using generative AI, the module converts product imagery into high-quality, optimised content, dominating Product Grids on SERPs and future-proofing the pages for LLM search. The Accelerate module built, hosted and maintained over 5,000 SEO-optimised PLPs that helped New Look expand its keyword universe and capture high-demand search terms.
Elinor Pierce, Senior Trade and Optimisations at New Look, said: “We have worked with MediaVision since the pandemic, and they have been brilliant at growing our SEO market share exponentially over that time. Their platform, Metis, has helped uncover growth opportunities weekly, which is incredibly valuable in a rapidly changing landscape. Metis also allows us to share this data across teams, helping them make market data-informed decisions.”
