LinkedIn has introduced Sponsored Newsletters to help marketers amplify their long-form content and reach new audiences. The launch comes as the platform now has 184,000 newsletters on its platform globally, with a 59% increase in people publishing a newsletter article in the past year, and a 47% increase in newsletter engagement. With Sponsored Newsletters, companies and C-suite executives can amplify the reach of their native long-form content, attract more readers, and drive higher engagement with their brand. Brands can also sponsor a newsletter article shared by any member on LinkedIn as a Thought Leader Ad to promote authentic storytelling. 

Ad tech platforms The Trade Desk and Nexxen have launched a new strategic data partnership to provide self-service TV data through The Trade Desk for the first time in the UK and Canada. By offering brands advanced cross-channel and device targeting capabilities, the partnership will help them to achieve improved ROI on media investments targeted at reaching audiences across the premium, open internet.

The music streaming platform Spotify has launched new tools for its Megaphone business to make it easier for publishers to maximise their revenue. The tools are Spotify’s latest investment in enabling publishers to provide greater value to their advertisers, while becoming more efficient when it comes to managing their podcast business. The new features include contextual targeting to offer advertisers the ability to apply campaign targeting and exclusions based on episode-level topics, as well as segment and bulk editing to help publishers manage their ad breaks and edit multiple orders within the same screen. 

THG Commerce, THG Ingenuity’s commerce solution, has partnered with Premier Foods, one of the UK’s largest food producers, to support the launch of its FUEL10K direct-to-consumer (DTC) offering. Under the partnership, THG Commerce will enable FUEK10K to grow its presence in the Complete Nutrition category by promoting a new product range backed up by FUEL10K’s existing breakfast range to support growth and awareness. THG Commerce will provide a complete end-to-end digital commerce solution to support Premier Foods in delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

Channel 5 and its free streaming service, My5, will relaunch in 2025 under a unified parent brand of 5 across linear, streaming and digital platforms, giving its audience easier access to the broadcaster’s range of programming and content. As part of the relaunch as 5, the free streaming service will be given a new user interface to enhance audience experience with the service. It will feature a significantly expanded content offer to complement Channel 5’s UK drama originals and unscripted programming. This will include premium content from across the wider Paramount family spanning reality, drama, factual, films and true crime shows from MTV Entertainment Studios, CBS, and Comedy Central, as well as the opportunity to sample some of the biggest hits from Paramount+. For the first time, the streaming service will include a new range of specially curated FAST channels. There will also be personalisation, and enhanced data-led advertising opportunities. 

British AI company Illuma has made it so their suite of contextual AI solutions can be activated through Amazon Publisher Services’ (APS) Connections Marketplace, providing access to content classification and publisher monetisation tools. Illuma’s privacy-centric AI technology is used by publishers to analyse contextual performance, and to curate deals and optimise campaigns across inventory. Additionally, its AI-powered content categoriser enables placements on publisher pages and taxonomic offerings for context and brand suitability. 

Rubrik is launching Salesforce Data Protection, a backup and recovery solution for Salesforce Core Platform data, powered by the data security capabilities of Rubrik Security Cloud. Extending Rubrik’s data protection capabilities, Salesforce Data Protection helps Salesforce admins, IT, and security leaders proactively establish a backup and recovery strategy to simplify management, reduce costs, and enhance security.
