Categories open to submissions

There are 9 free-to-enter categories open to agencies, DSPs, exchanges, and in-house brand teams. These awards will be judged by our expert panel and the assembled audience at the awards event. 

Which will you enter?

Recognising the most effective and innovative use, management, and/or activation of data in driving outstanding campaign performance. Entries are encouraged from those who have used any type of data, first-, second-, or third-party. Credit will be awarded for considered, strategic integration that is both effective and sustainable.

The most effective and innovative use of pDOOH alongside at least one other offline/broadcast channel (e.g. CTV, TV, radio) excluding OOH and DOOH and at least one other online channel (e.g. mobile, search, video). Credit will be given for both performance and consideration of the consumer experience across multiple channels.

The most effective and innovative use of pDOOH and online (display or video) in a single campaign strategy. Campaigns do not necessarily need to have been bought via the same platform, however, entries must clearly demonstrate how the two channels worked together efficiently and effectively to deliver the campaign objectives. Credit will be given for both performance and consideration of the consumer experience across multiple channels.

The most effective and innovative use of pDOOH and mobile (display, video, in-app, and social) in a single campaign strategy. Campaigns do not necessarily need to have been bought via the same platform, however, entries must clearly demonstrate how the two channels worked together efficiently and effectively to deliver the campaign objectives. Credit will be given for both performance and consideration of the consumer experience across multiple channels.

Recognising the most innovative and creative use of technology behind the most effective and powerful digital out-of-home advertising campaigns including both programmatic and non-programmatic strategies.

New categories

This award recognises best-in-class measurement of brand metrics, e.g. awareness, favorability, consideration, purchase intent, and share of voice. Entries are welcome from any combination of channels or pDOOH alone. 

This award recognises best-in-class measurement of performance metrics, e.g. footfall, in-store sales, online sales, and ROI. Entries are welcome from any combination of channels or pDOOH alone.

Recognising outstanding use of programmatic dynamic creative optimisation (DCO). Entries are encouraged from those who have used any type of data, first-, second-, or third-party. Credit will be awarded for considered, strategic integration that is both effective and sustainable.

Open to entry for campaigns that spanned more than one market. Entries are welcome from any combination of channels or pDOOH alone.

Non-enterable categories

In addition to the enterable categories there are a further 8 awards up for grabs. 

All entries will automatically be entered into the following categories. The winners will be chosen by the judging panel only (with the exception of the Best Creative and People’s Choice awards).

Creative awards

Creatives will be tested by JCDecaux’s VIM platform and System1’s out of home testing solution. Evaluation criteria include: attention, brand recognition, and fluency. 

Creative assets from all entries will be shown to members of the public via an online survey. Participants will be asked to choose their favourite creatives, disregarding personal use of the brand/product featured, via a randomised display.

These awards will be decided by the judging panel only. 

This award will be given to the best entry from all the enterable categories from a specialist out of home agency. 

This award will be given to the best entry from all the enterable categories from a network agency.

This award will be given to the best entry from all the enterable categories from an independent agency.

This award will be given to the best entry from all the enterable categories from an in-house brand team. 

A special award for the most engaging presentation on the day of the awards. 

Recognising the best of the best. All shortlisted entries are automatically eligible for the Grand Prix award which will be decided by a panel of judges from JCDecaux UK and New Digital Age considering the scores from the judging panel, our award event guests, and the public vote.
