Brave Bison appoints Vaughan Eveleigh to new product and technology role

Brave Bison has appointed Vaughan Eveleigh as VP, Product and Technology in a newly created cross-agency role overseeing product and technology strategy across the group’s agency and media businesses.

Eveleigh joins from WPP, where he worked as Product Director, AI for WPP Open. He previously held senior digital and product roles at River Island and Selfridges, where he worked on ecommerce platforms, mobile apps and international digital operations.

Brave Bison has also promoted Matt Garbutt from Director of AI & Creative to Group Director of Product Innovation. The pair will work on AI and product development initiatives across the business.

Immediate appoints Charles Cox as Performance Marketing & Acquisitions Director

Immediate has appointed Charles Cox as Performance Marketing & Acquisitions Director.

Cox joins from personal development platform Mindvalley, where he held a senior marketing leadership role. He has also previously worked in performance marketing roles at Experian and across wellness brands.

At Immediate, he will oversee top-of-funnel marketing activities, with responsibility for subscription acquisition and performance marketing teams.

StackAdapt appoints Blaine Fitzgerald as CFO

StackAdapt has appointed Blaine Fitzgerald as Chief Financial Officer.

Fitzgerald joins from supply chain software company Kinaxis, where he served as CFO for five years. Prior to that, he worked at Shopify, where he was involved in the company’s IPO and expansion during a period of significant growth.

In the new role, Fitzgerald will oversee StackAdapt’s global finance and accounting operations as the company continues to expand internationally.

Inizio Engage promotes Colin Melville to Executive Creative Director

Inizio Engage has appointed Colin Melville as Executive Creative Director for its XD (Experience Design) division.

Melville joined the company in 2022 and has worked on the development of its AI-driven creative and film capabilities, including the launch of a generative AI film unit. Before joining Inizio Engage, he held creative leadership roles across broadcast, agency and consultancy businesses, including positions at BBC, ITV and Sky.

In the role, Melville will oversee creative direction across film, digital, live experience, communications and learning projects globally. He succeeds Mark Gass, who held the Executive Creative Director position for nearly 20 years.

Teads executive joins Adcities as SVP Global Expansion

Out-of-home adtech specialist Adcities has announced the appointment of Hicham Berrada to the role of SVP of Global Expansion.

Berrada brings extensive experience in adtech to the role, having spent more than 16 years at Teads, a company he joined at its inception. He remained through its growth into a platform operating across more than 20 countries with 1,800 employees. He held the roles of General Manager France and SVP Business Development during his time there, leading advertising product development and international deployment.

At Adcities, Berrada will lead the next phase of international expansion, with operations recently launched in Spain, France, MENA and Mexico, and Brazil the next market on the horizon.

Piqniq brings in new hires to strengthen specialist media capabilities

Independent media agency Piqniq has made two appointments of media specialists to build out the team’s capabilities.

Aura Andrikonyte joins as Senior Paid Social Manager, arriving from VaynerMedia where she worked as Media Manager. She brings close to seven years of experience across paid social, performance media and platform activation to the role. At Piqniq, Andrikonyte will lead end-to-end paid social activation for clients, develop platform partnerships and help establish best practice across the agency’s social output.

James Kirwan will be joining alongside her as Programmatic Lead, bringing more than seven years of experience in the advertising and media space. Kirwan takes responsibility for building out the agency’s programmatic offering, driving client success and strengthening Piqniq’s digital media expertise.

SportsShoes.com appoints former GB mountain runner to lead marketing for trail and outdoor

SportsShoes.com has promoted long-standing staff member and former GB mountain runner Ben Mounsey to the role of Marketing Manager for Trail and Outdoor.

Mounsey has been with the Bradford-based retailer since 2019, working across ambassador management, content, brand and marketing during that time. As a fell, trail and mountain runner, he has competed at international level, representing Yorkshire, England and Great Britain.

The promotion puts him in charge of trail and outdoor marketing strategy, campaigns and activations, allowing him to draw on his competitive background as the sports shoe retailer seeks to grow further in a category that is seeing a strong surge in popularity – creating a clear opportunity to build on this momentum.

Amy Watt steps into the role of UK President at iProspect

Media agency iProspect, part of the Dentsu network, has appointed Amy Watt as UK President, effective at the end of June.

Watt will be stepping into the role vacated by James Bailey, who took on the role of Media CEO for Dentsu UK&I earlier this year. Watt is a Dentsu native who has been with the business since 2016, beginning in the role of Business Innovation Partner, UK & Ireland, before moving up to Chief Strategy Officer, UK at Dentsu X and then holding several roles at iProspect, culminating in the position of Global Managing Director.

Across her 20 years in the industry, Watt has worked on accounts such as Apple, Amazon, BMW, Coca-Cola, Netflix, and PwC. She will lead the agency’s strategic direction and operations across its five UK offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds and Stafford, as well as its centres of excellence for EMEA and global clients.
