TrafficGuard, an AI-powered platform for digital ad verification and invalid traffic (IVT) prevention, has appointed Scott Thomson as Head of AI. Thomson will oversee and accelerate the execution and embedment of AI into TrafficGuard’s platform and processes, building on more than eight years of machine learning innovation that has positioned the company at the forefront of ad fraud detection since its founding. He brings over a decade’s worth of experience in technology and AI innovation, having previously worked for Google, Adobe, and Telstra, as well as founding strategic consultancy firm SCRYPTID. He will leverage his extensive experience in AI strategy and innovation to accelerate product development and commercial execution. 

Action Group has appointed Alex Cornwell as its new Managing Director, with the remit to help its growing portfolio of clients across the fitness, wellness, lifestyle and sports industries seamlessly unlock standout growth no matter the business challenge faced. The former Vice President of Fitness & Wellness at The PHA Group – who was also a standout middle-distance runner in his youth, twice representing England and winning multiple age-group national titles – joins Action Group following the departure of former Managing Director, Daniel Pearson, now Head of Communications (Europe) at Motorola Solutions. Cornwell brings vast sector experience having delivered impactful work for the likes of Therabody, Huel, Club Pilates, Energie Fitness, USN, and the adidas Manchester Marathon.

AND Digital has appointed John Bintu as Head of Databricks ecosystem to support the entire AND Digital organization across all group practice areas, strengthening the company’s global Databricks capability and ensuring clients worldwide can accelerate value from data, cloud and AI. In his new role, Bintu will be responsible for evolving the company’s suite of accelerators that enable internal teams to deliver greater speed to value and working with Databricks to maximise our strategic alliance partnership. His appointment further reinforces AND Digital’s ability to scale its Databricks expertise at a time of growth, ensuring the company can continue to meet rising client demand for advanced cloud, data and AI capabilities.

Moonfare, the global private markets investment platform and manager, has appointed Joanna Christie as its Chief Marketing Officer. Christie brings more than 20 years of international marketing experience across high-growth technology platforms and global luxury brands. In her new role, she will drive Moonfare’s global marketing strategy and market position as the company continues to expand its platform, broaden its curated investment offering, and scale its international presence. As part of Moonfare’s Executive Leadership Team, Christie will report directly to Founder and Co-CEO Steffen Pauls.
