Talent Tracker: TripleLift, MullenLowe, VCCP, Azerion, and more

TripleLift has announced the appointment of Dave Helmreich to the position of CEO. He is tasked with accelerating strategic initiatives and growth plans, while driving innovation in the digital advertising industry. Helmreich, who has over 20 years of experience, most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer at Innovid. Prior to Innovid, he held leaderships roles at Audience Partners, Liveintent, Oracle, and Stackline.

Nicky Bullard, Group Chief Creative Officer at MullenLowe UK, has left the agency. Her next move remains unknown. Bullard, who joined MullenLowe in May 2022, helped the agency secure new business wins with the likes of Co-op, the Department of Health and Social Care, Freemans, Invesco, and The Children’s Society. Prior to MullenLowe, she served as Chairwoman and Chief Creative Officer at MRM and, before that, Executive Creative Director at Lida/M&C Saatchi. MullenLowe will not be replacing the Chief Creative Officer role directly, but will put new creative leadership in place.

VCCP Media has announced two new hires: Jack Bellamy as Head of Creative Partnerships and Georgia Styles as Strategy Director. Bellamy will be responsible for establishing and expanding VCCP Media’s creative partnership capabilities. He will work closely with media partners and internal teams across VCCP to help brands build cultural relevance and expand into new spaces. Previously, Bellamy held the role of Group Strategy Director at Initiative, where he led strategy for brands including Deliveroo, GetYourGuide, Carlsberg, and Converse. Styles will focus on delivering growth strategies that drive effectiveness, creativity and integration across VCCP Media’s clients, with a focus on Edgewell Brands (Wilkinson Sword and Bulldog). Prior to joining VCCP, Styles held the position of Associate Director, Communications Design at Initiative UK, where she was responsible for delivering strategic communications planning. Styles worked with clients such as Deliveroo, GetYourGuide, Carlsberg and Ecotone. Before Initiative UK, Styles worked as an Account Director at EssenceMediacom New Zealand, where she worked with Warner Brothers and Universal Pictures.

Digital advertising platform Azerion has created a new programmatic team to enhance the support it provides to customers using its technology stack, with a primary focus being its demand side platform (DSP) Hawk. The Azerion UK initiative is headed up by Irini Michail, formally Hawk’s Client Development Lead.

Richard Alridge has joined performance agency Nest Commerce as its first Director of Growth. He joins from Wunderkind, where he was Executive Director of UK Business Development. Reporting to Chief Growth Officer Luke Jonas, Alridge will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and identifying new commercial opportunities.

Media tech company Adlook has announced the expansion of its management board and the reorganisation of its Outcomes team. As part of this strategy, Luca Filardo (SVP of Commercial Growth), Michał Orzechowski (VP of Operations), and Mateusz Jędrocha (CPO) have joined the management board. Additionally, Daniel Surmacz will now take on a supervisory role, allowing him to focus on strategic initiatives across the entire Group. Alongside Kuba Kossut, Global CEO of Adlook, they will drive the company’s future growth. Meanwhile, Łukasz Abgarowicz assumes the newly created Global Head of Customer Success position; Jan Muszyński becomes Regional VP of Growth for the Central and Eastern European (CEE), Brazil, and Mexico; Jacek Celiński takes on the role of Regional VP of growth for Italy, France, Spain, and the UK; and Bartosz Nowak has been promoted to VP of Sales for the CEE market.

Enero Group, home to agencies such as BMF and Hotwire, has appointed Ian Ball to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. He replaces outgoing CEO Brent Scrimshaw and will report directly to Enero Chair Ian Rowden. Enero Group operating company CEOs Heather Kernahan, Steve McArdle, Wai Kwok, and Raja Gupta, along with the Group functional heads, will now report to Ball. He has over 40 years of experience, having held senior leadership roles including EY Oceania’s Deputy CEO and Head of Markets. More recently, Ball was TEG’s Chief Operating Officer and Head of Strategy and M&A. Before this, he was an Operating Partner at Silver Lake and CEO and Managing Director at Cardno.

Alongside its rebrand from Shopblocks to Symphony Commerce, the company has made changes to its leadership team. The rebrand has been spearheaded by Matt Smith, Symphony’s newly appointed CEO. He previously led Barrett Dixon Bell through a management buyout and, subsequently, transitioned the agency to become 100% employee-owned. He remains active as Executive Chairman there. Smith has appointed Ella Lim as Symphony’s CFO. She joins from Hilti Great Britain, where she held roles across finance operations in Northern Europe and the UK. Additionally, Hannah Spencer has been promoted to the leadership team as Client Service Director.

Programmatic healthcare marketing platform Doceree has announced the appointment of Ritesh Patel as Chief Growth Officer. He will be responsible for leading growth initiatives, expanding strategic partnerships, and accelerating adoption of Doceree’s solutions, especially in the point-of-care space. Patel was previously Managing Partner-Global Digital Health at Finn Partners.

Manchester-based ecommerce agency PushOn has appointed Liam Gibson as its new Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across its digital marketing and ecommerce services. Gibson previously worked at Silverbean as Business Development Manager, and worked at The Social Co before that. He will be responsible for identifying and securing high-value clients, enhancing the agency’s market reach, and driving new business opportunities across PushOn’s full suite of services.

Yorkshire-headquartered brand engagement agency XSEM has recruited Rob Woodhead as its new Commercial Director, with the aim of growing its client base. Woodhead is former Managing Director of Simply Better, and has previously delivered campaigns for likes of Shark Ninja, Arco, and Greene King.
