Danish customer support innovator Dixa has announced Simon Højmose Kristensen as its new Chief Financial Officer. The hire is a significant milestone in Dixa’s own growth trajectory, as the company aims to build on its recent funding round and series of acquisitions. Højmose joins Dixa from ISS A/S, one of the world’s largest facility management and workplace experience companies, where he was Central & Southern European CFO with a focus on financial turnarounds, Covid recovery and driving compliance across the region. Prior to that, Højmose was CFO of Nuuday, the leading provider of TV, broadband and mobility services in Denmark, and SVP of Group Finance at TDC Group, where he worked for over 18 years.
Canon UK & Ireland, has announced the appointment of Tracey Fielden as Country Director, Imaging Technologies & Communications Group (ITCG) of Canon UK and Ireland. In her new role, Fielden reports directly to Yusuke Mizoguchi, Senior Managing Director, Canon UK & Ireland, and will join the executive leadership team. Fielden will be responsible for driving sales of Canon’s ITCG products, further strengthening Canon’s brand position in the local market, enhancing cross-business unit collaboration, and continuing to strengthen Canon’s inclusive culture. Fielden brings over 20 years of Canon experience to her new role, having started with the company as a Product Manager in 2001. Her most recent role was as ITCG Marketing Director, where she was responsible for leading a high-achieving marketing team. Throughout her career at Canon, Fielden has taken an innovative and creative approach to inspiring her teams and winning the hearts and minds of customers.
Wavemaker has announced Radhika Radhakrishnan in the role of global Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to global CEO, Toby Jenner, Radhakrishnan will be part of the Global Leadership Team based in London. She will be responsible for finance, commercial, compliance and legal. Radhakrishnan will be tasked with creating and managing best-in-class sustainable commercial relationships for Wavemaker and their clients. Radhakrishnan’s career spans Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) where she held the dual roles of Global Chief Financial Officer and Chief Financial Officer BBH London. Prior to her six years at BBH, Radhakrishnan was Finance Director at 20th Century Fox UK and Chief Financial Officer Hachette Filipacchi UK now Hearst Magazines.
Mendix has announced that low-code veteran Nick Ford has been promoted to chief marketing officer at Mendix. Ford, based in London, was previously vice president of product marketing and chief evangelist at Mendix. He joins the C-suite leadership team for the low-code category leader as it drives low-code from a supporting role to the centre of the application development stack to fuel Mendix’s next phase of hypergrowth.
Above+Beyond has boosted its senior creative team with the hiring of Shez Lord as Creative Director. Lord, who previously worked at Wunderman Thompson as Associate Creative Director, will lead the Subway account. He reports to Dom Goldman, Chief Creative Officer. At Wunderman Thompson, Lord delivered work across HSBC, Nestle, First Direct, HSBC and BT. Prior to that, he was Associate Creative Director at The &Partnership for 3 years, working across its News International business with specific responsibilities for The Sun.
Bloomberg News announced the appointment of Allegra Stratton as UK Contributing Editor. She begins in her role today. As part of her role, Stratton will write Bloomberg UK’s daily newsletter The Readout, providing expert analysis of the day’s biggest stories targeted to a British audience. The newsletter will feature the best of Bloomberg – including the latest business and politics news as well as in-depth reporting from Bloomberg’s journalists in Britain and around the world. Stratton spent nearly two decades as a journalist, having served as Political Editor for BBC’s Newsnight and National Editor at ITV News, among other roles. In May 2020, she entered UK government, where she held the positions of Head of Strategic Communications at the Treasury, Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, and government spokesperson for the UN Climate Change Summit COP26.
Global advertising technology company, The Trade Desk has announced the appointment of Clare Dyer as Vice President of HR, EMEA. Based in London, Dyer will be responsible for leading the company’s human resource strategy and operations across EMEA. Her team is responsible for developing and managing employee programs to further develop and grow the unique culture at The Trade Desk. Dyer brings an extensive background in HR leadership at some of the biggest brands as well as innovative start-ups across technology, publishers and advertising. Dyer founded Asima Coaching in 2019, before qualifying as an Executive Coach and pursuing her passion for employee engagement and coaching. Previously, Dyer served as Chief People Officer at Brandwatch where she was responsible for aligning people with strategic business ambitions.
Avantgarde Group has announced the appointment of Dr. Lesley Anne Bleakney as the global brand experience Group’s new Managing Director. With a doctorate in cultural studies and a specific focus on Leadership Empowerment, Employer Branding, Cultural Identity and New Work, Bleakney will also take over the Talent & Culture department as Chief People Officer (CPO). In her new role, Bleakney will be responsible for growing the talent across the Group – including developing current employees as well as finding new, fresh talent. Brewer Pinter has expanded its senior team with two significant hires. Ted Charalambides joins the London-based brewer as Growth Director. Previously at Pact Coffee – the largest speciality coffee subscription service in the UK – he will be responsible for creating and executing the customer acquisition strategy at Pinter. Elsewhere, Charalambides will lead the revamp of the Pinter website to further enhance the customer journey both pre and post-purchase. Charalambides will also oversee Pinter’s consumer and trade PR and develop the marketing team – all with a view to finding, acquiring and retaining new Pinter customers. Mike Miglore joins Pinter as Community Director after roles at the likes of News UK and Hope For Justice UK. In the role, Miglore will be responsible for Pinter’s 16,000+ community of brewers, focusing on customer strategy, data & analytics and value management including engagement, retention, loyalty and customer care.
