Moloco strengthens Board of Directors

Moloco, a global AI advertising company, has announced the appointment of Dawn Ostroff to its Board of Directors. Ostroff brings years of global leadership experience across media, entertainment, technology, and advertising to the board as Moloco accelerates its AI platform across the evolving media landscape.

Ostroff is a seasoned media and technology executive known for building and scaling content and advertising businesses. She currently serves as an independent director on the boards of Mattel and Sweetgreen, and supports AI innovation through her advisory work with various hypergrowth startups. Ostroff previously served as Chief Content and Advertising Business Officer at Spotify, where she oversaw global content strategy and helped grow its advertising business into a scaled, data-driven platform.

We Are Social appoints Amy Conner as Head of Studios

We Are Social, the socially-led creative agency, has appointed Amy Conner as Head of Studios in the UK.

Conner will oversee the agency’s production arm, We Are Social Studios, working with clients such as Carlsberg, Chase and Lucozade to champion creative excellence in social-first production. 

Conner’s experience spans digital, branded, social-first and broadcast content. She was previously Production Director at JustSo. Here, she worked with brands such as Lego Group, Disney and P&G, with notable projects including Disney’s original branded content documentary series for YouTube, “Mapping the Magic”.

Conner will report to the agency’s Managing Director, Lucy Doubleday.

Email marketing agency expands with new appointments

Acquirz, a B2B data solutions and email marketing agency, has appointed Kevin Smith as Head of Data and AI, and Kelly Merchant as Campaign Manager.

The new hires continue a period of growth and recruitment for the agency, following its recent acquisition of Marketscan, a UK-based organisation with more than 40 years delivering full-service data led marketing. 

Based in the company’s Cheltenham office, Smith joins Acquirz with over two decades of experience across data, analytics, and technology leadership, including overseeing global teams and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.

Applying this expertise at Acquirz, Smith will further embed AI-driven insights across operations to accelerate commercial growth while benefiting clients from smarter customer targeting, data enrichment, and process automation.

Kelly Merchant brings almost a decade of experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and email marketing. 

Skilled in building and optimising automated customer journeys, Merchant develops personalised content, data-driven segmentation and lifecycle marketing strategies. She has worked across a range of industries, from financial services to retail, optimising performance and generating measurable results.
