GetResponse appoints Michael Leslie as CTO
GetResponse has appointed Michael Leslie as Chief Technology Officer. Leslie joins the lifecycle marketing platform with more than 20 years’ experience leading engineering organisations across SaaS, retail and technology businesses, including senior roles at Dynatrace, Synchronoss Technologies and Currys.
As CTO, Leslie will lead GetResponse’s global technology strategy, overseeing product development, engineering and AI innovation. His remit includes developing the platform’s AI capabilities, accelerating product development and supporting the scalability and reliability of its lifecycle marketing technology.
Space & Time appoints Sacha Cunningham as managing partner, growth
Growth marketing agency Space & Time has appointed Sacha Cunningham as managing partner, growth, a newly created role reporting to CEO Chris Jones.
Cunningham joins from Croud, where he was head of business development, having previously held senior roles at Publicis Media’s PM Dragonfly and Jellyfish. He brings more than 27 years’ industry experience.
His remit includes leading Space & Time’s global sales strategy, managing sales activity, developing relationships with intermediaries and industry partners, and working with the agency’s marketing team on new business opportunities.
Hightouch appoints Jitendra Kumar to advertising role
Hightouch has appointed Jitendra Kumar as Head of Commercial, Advertising. Kumar joins after two decades at Google, where he held leadership roles across its advertising business and most recently led US agency partnerships.
Kumar will focus on developing Hightouch’s relationships across the advertising ecosystem, working with holding companies, independent agencies and advertising platforms. He will also work with agency and brand clients on the use of first-party data and AI in media workflows, while supporting adoption of Hightouch’s advertising products.
APS Group welcomes back three former employees
APS Group has rehired three former employees in senior roles. Granit Zeneli and Nicol Pomfret return as Senior Account Managers, having previously worked at the company as Account Managers, while Tayler Regan has rejoined as Senior Project Manager after previously holding an Account Manager position.
Zeneli spent around four years at APS before gaining experience across private, public sector and automotive clients elsewhere. Pomfret spent two-and-a-half years at APS before moving to other Manchester agencies, while Regan returns six years after leaving and joins the Retail & Brand Experience team.
SuperHeroes appoints Quim Español as Creative Director
Independent creative agency SuperHeroes has appointed Quim Español as Creative Director. Reporting to CEO Django Weisz Blanchetta, Español will work across client projects and JIMMY, the agency’s talent management platform for CGI and AI creators.
Español will work with clients and internal teams on opportunities at the intersection of AI and creativity. He previously held creative leadership roles at adidas, Monks and CAAPSAI, and earlier worked as an Art Director at AKQA and Concept Creative at Proximity Barcelona.
Readpeak strengthens technology and commercial leadership
Ad-tech company Readpeak has appointed Sami Pippuri as Chief Technology Officer and promoted Martin Garfalk to VP Sales Europe.
Pippuri joins with more than 25 years’ experience in software engineering, product development, technology leadership and entrepreneurship, including more than a decade at Nokia, leadership roles at Microsoft and a spell as CTO of MaaS Global. At Readpeak, he will lead technology and product development, with responsibility for scaling the ad-tech platform, developing the engineering organisation and expanding the use of AI across products and workflows.
Garfalk, who has been Readpeak’s Country Manager for Norway, will take responsibility for sales strategy and positioning across Europe. He has also been preparing for the company’s planned US launch in a parallel Business Director role.
Creatorville appoints Dean McDonald as Head of Production
Creatorville, the video, social and creator content arm of Attention Industries, has appointed Dean McDonald as Head of Production.
McDonald joins after almost seven years at Future PLC, where he produced digital-first content across lifestyle, entertainment and gaming brands. He will lead production across Creatorville’s client and internal work, working with the wider Attention Industries group.
His appointment comes as Creatorville expands its short-form, creator-led and social-first video production activity for brands and publishers.
Research Clever appoints Cécile King as Commercial Director
Research Clever has appointed Cécile King as Commercial Director. King joins from MIS Group, where she was UK Country Manager, and has previously held roles at Intelligent Insights Group, Kadence International and AplusA.
She brings more than 20 years’ experience across market research, business development, client partnerships and commercial leadership, including work across quantitative and qualitative research, international programmes, client services, bid management and account development.
At Research Clever, King will lead commercial strategy, strengthen client relationships and support expansion across existing and new markets.
