Kantar Media, an audience measurement platform, has named Lucy Bristowe as its CEO for the UK & Western Europe. Reporting to Global CEO Patrick Béhar, Bristowe will work closely with joint industry committees and buyers and sellers of content and advertising, leading the implementation of Kantar’s services in the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Israel.
Bristowe succeeds Louise Ainsworth, who recently announced she would be stepping down after six years in the role.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Kantar Media and looking forward to working with Patrick and the team,” said Bristowe. “There is huge momentum from clients around the world towards measuring across platforms and media. I look forward to working in partnership with clients to unlock more innovation that can help shape our partnership and advance their strategy forward.”
She joins Kantar having led teams at Channel 4 and Sky Media in a variety of research and insight roles. Most recently, she was one of the chief architects behind unified TV advertising metric CFlight.
Bristowe was also recently listed among the ‘top 50 women gamechangers in TV,’ and has served as a board member and active collaborator on BARB and TAM Ireland.
