POSSIBLE 2025: Empowering Innovation, Networking, and the Next Generation

By Ellie Edwards-Scott, Co-Founder The Advisory Collective & COO & Co-Founder WeGame2 and Trustee of Digilearning

Last week, I had the privilege of attending my first POSSIBLE, an event that has left me in no doubt as to why it’s fast becoming an unmissable date in the Advertising, Marketing and Digital Innovation calendar.

From the moment the doors opened, it was clear that POSSIBLE was not just about panels and pitches, but about creating real connections that drive the industry forward.

The Power of Networking
One thing that really struck me was that at the heart of POSSIBLE 2025 was the opportunity to network, not only in the traditional sense that we’re used to on the conference circuit, but in a way that helped to foster meaningful conversations and collaboration.

At just over 5,000 attendees the event felt easy enough to navigate, I would recommend scheduling meetings ahead of time however, don’t forget to set some time aside for those impromptu hallway chats as you made your way from one side of the Fontainbleau to the other or stop to have meetings at the cabanas outside.

The event successfully brought together a vibrant mix of thought leaders and emerging tech innovators. These interactions didn’t just inspire; they sparked partnership discussions and fresh ideas that will help to shape the year ahead.

Content That Delivered
The content sessions struck a perfect balance between visionary thinking and practical takeaways. Highlights of course included discussions on the evolving landscape of AI in marketing, but POSSIBLE also brought some cultural icons such as Shelley-Ann Fraser Price, Martha Stewart and Stan Smith to talk about their journeys, how they built brands and how the lessons that they have learnt along rhe way translate across environments and how they keep younger audiences engaged. The speakers didn’t just speak about the trends — they challenged the audience to think about responsibility, creativity, and impact in equal measure.

Attending with Digilearning: Championing the Next Generation
One of the most rewarding aspects of POSSIBLE 2025 for me personally was attending in my capacity as a Trustee for Digilearning.

As many of you know, Digilearning is a digital skills charity that is committed to empowering young people with the digital skills they need to succeed in today’s world. Lisa Goodchild, CEO & Founder of Digilearning has been successful in bringing young talent into spaces like POSSIBLE which is crucial for our industry which is facing a serious talent shortage.

I witnessed firsthand the impact that opening up spaces such as POSSIBLE can have. From formal assignments with the industry press through to interviewing senior industry figures. The cohort were a credit to themselves, their companies and Digilearning. There were so many memorable moments with Deborah, Georgina, Jonathan, Jovanni and Mia throughout the duration of our trip.

It’s the 2nd year that Digilearning has taken young talent to POSSIBLE, this year they joined with Creative Ladder and Unity to ensure that even more people could get a seat at the table.

Initiatives like this are vital for our industry. They not only expose young talent to the latest innovations but also give them the chance to connect with the ‘OGS’—senior leaders—outside of a mentoring session, helping them to envision their own future somewhere in our industry.

There is a lot of talk about the “next generation”, but giving them access and opportunity is where the real change happens.

Final Thoughts

It’s been a very challenging year for the UK industry, and indeed the wider industry as a whole.

However, for me, POSSBLE 2025 wasn’t just another industry event, it was a reminder that while technology and trends continue to evolve rapidly, the core of what drives us forward remains the same: people, partnerships, and a commitment to growth — both for our businesses and for the talent coming up behind us.

I’m already looking forward to POSSIBLE 2026. Until then, let’s keep the conversations — and the opportunities — flowing.
