BBC Studios has announced Devina Seth as Brand Partnerships Director within their Global Digital Brands team. Her appointment is the latest within the growing division as they continue to expand their digital advertising offering with a particular focus on social video advertising and social-first branded entertainment to clients and advertisers. Seth will be responsible for building out the digital value proposition, commercial product and core capabilities to take the portfolio of IP out to clients to deliver content led brand partnerships. Her previous roles include stints at Vice, Dazed, and Refinery29.
CRM platform HubSpot has announced the appointment of Roisin Hughes as VP of Sales for Small Business for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The appointment comes as HubSpot continues its focus on helping millions of organisations grow better. In this newly-created role, Hughes is tasked with leading the strategic direction of HubSpot’s small and midsize business (SMB) operation, including acquiring SMB customers and setting them on the path to growth. Hughes brings with her almost two decades of experience working for brands including Procter & Gamble, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and Salesforce, where she specialised in supporting SMBs’ growth. HubSpot aims to help level the playing field for SMBs, and Hughes will play a big part in supporting them.
Idhl has bolstered its senior team further with the hire of several senior industry experts. The digital agency has hired Katie Duance as Marketing Director. Duance brings more than 15 years’ experience and previously worked at Dentsu UK&I for eight years, where she most recently held the position of UK Marketing Director. The newly created Marketing Director role at Idhl will see Duance join the Senior Leadership Team to build brand equity and engage with national and international clients through targeted strategic engagement models. Dan Taylor has been appointed as Commercial Director, while Ben Unwin takes on the role of Business Development Director. Both are London-based and join from performance marketing technology provider Wunderkind. Taylor has more than 12 years of senior commercial and sales experience in the digital marketing space working with major brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and Dior. He will focus on building commercial relationships globally. Meanwhile, Unwin has an EMEA background in the performance marketing industry, with particular knowledge of fashion and retail, and will be supporting Taylor in these efforts.
Screendragon, a work management platform for agency and marketing organisations, has appointed P. Cory Hogan to the role of Chief Executive Officer. He has also been appointed to Screendragon’s board and will be based in Boston. Hogan will join the company’s founders John Briggs (CTO)and Jan Quant (CFO), along with Fergus Ashe (CCO), adding more than 20 years of additional category experience. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Lob, with prior roles of North American Vice President at InMoment and Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Qualtrics. Previously, he served in senior roles at Oracle, Alpine, and Upscale. Hogan’s joining follows a $27 million funding round led by Kennet Partners and Federated Hermes earlier this year, as well as the recent appointment of Anne Cogan as Head of Marketing.
