A trio of former Omnicom’s Flywheel, Amazon, and Brainlabs executive leaders have come together to launch BASE, a next-generation Retail Media+ agency. Ethan Kitching (former CCO of Molzi) and Wes Maynard (former Ad Tech Lead at Amazon) founded Base following a realisation that advertisers were not receiving fully connected, transparent, and cost-efficient solutions from the current players within the Retail Media and e-commerce space. The founders are joined by Tim Watkinson, the former Head of Data and AdTech of Omnicom’s Flywheel, who will hold the position of CTO.Base’s unique ‘Retail Media+’ agency aims to bridge the gap between retail media, e-commerce, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) strategies to drive growth for brands.

The ad debuted on Saturday, 1st March, during The BRIT Awards 2025 on ITV1 and ITVX, followed by additional primetime TV spots across Channel 4, Channel 5, and Sky. Media planning and buying was handled by People’s Postcode Lottery’s inhouse media investment team in partnership with the7stars.
Creative first social agency Buddy Media Group has announced its partnership with personal care company Edgewell to lead its UK (and some aspects of wider Europe) social media – Instagram and TikTok – across five of its core brands including, Hawaiian Tropic, Bulldog, Intuition, Wilkinson Sword, and Cremo. Rollr, a new-to-market refillable deodorant that reimagines personal care through the lens of luxury fragrance, has partnered with branding and design studio Mother Design, part of the Mother Family, to develop the brand world including the product’s name, visual identity, tone of voice and and bottle design for its revolutionary product. To help make his vision a reality, Pinckney partnered with business incubator Broody (also part of the Mother Family) and Mother Design, to develop the brand idea and strategic direction of Rollr. Rollr is now available in the UK.
