NDA is launching PitchLab, a Dragons’-Den-style event, where handpicked tech companies pitch to leading media agency leaders.
Rather than winning a slice of investment, in this contest, the contestants have the chance to win relationships with leading agencies which are looking for innovative tech to help deliver even greater work for their clients.
PitchLab launches on 22 January 2026 at The Century Club in London, opening with a powerful, provocative keynote to kick off a day of inspiration and collaboration.
The inaugural event features a panel of judges drawn from indie agencies, continuing NDA’s focus on the sector. The agencies will include VCCP Media, Smithfield Agency, JAA, Walk-In Media, The Kite Factory and Mediahub, with more to be announced.
PitchLab follows NDA’s popular Soho Sessions event and follows the same pattern, giving contestants a chance to ‘lightening pitch’ to the entire judging panel, before taking part in deep-dive follow session with individual judges to explain how their solution can help super-charge the service the agencies offer their clients.
NDA Editor-in-Chief Justin Pearse said: “Our Soho Sessions have always been one of my highlights. It’s such a joy to bring together our industry’s most innovative tech companies with the agencies that deliver such amazing work for clients. And I couldn’t be happier that the inaugural judging panel is drawn from indie agencies, a sector that has seen such stellar growth over the last few years.”
NDA hopes PitchLab will help deliver new relationships that will power even further the incredible work being seen across the indie agency sector.
The format is designed to ensure agency leaders have the chance to meet new potential tech partners, grill them and take a look under the hood to discover if and how they can add value to their agency and its clients.
