Omnicom Media Group (OMG), the media services division of Omnicom (NYSE: OMC), has named Guy Gobert-Jones Managing Director of Digital Performance. In the newly created role, Gobert-Jones will lead OMG’s market-leading performance capabilities, covering PPC, Social, SEO and Affiliates.
Gobert-Jones will be responsible for ensuring that OMG UK’s clients have access to the best specialist expertise from across the group through its Agency as a Platform proposition and are benefiting from the latest technologies to drive growth for their brands. A core focus will be on enabling agency teams and clients to capitalise on the expanding definition of digital performance, as social platforms move into search, search platforms expand into performance led social, and influencer and commerce come together to drive performance.
Gobert-Jones brings a wealth of experience to this role with over ten years in performance focused roles. He was previously Managing Partner – Search and Solutions Consultant at OMG UK and in this time was responsible for developing OMG UK’s search proposition and Search Technology Stack, leading and overseeing performance strategies for some of the UK’s biggest brands. His work has been recognised with various awards including Campaign Tech, Campaign Media, WARC Media, Drum Search and Performance Marketing Awards.
