Sourcepoint as announced the appointment of Marc Lauriac to Managing Director, Continental Europe. With more than 15 years of experience in the media, digital and advertising industries, Lauriac will originate the role of Managing Director as the company’s success across the continent expands. Prior to Sourcepoint, Lauriac gained a deep understanding of data management, ad monetisation and the crucial need for data privacy technology during his tenure at companies operating in digital and media, such as FreeWheel, Audible, Sizmek (formerly MediaMind) and Mediapeers. Most recently, as Senior Director Customer Success & Business Development, International at FreeWheel, he was responsible for ensuring the efficient management of product and partnership strategies internationally and coordination of the customer success team across Europe.

Truant London has recruited Lennie Hughes, formerly Soho House’s Head of Membership and Communications, for the newly created role of ‘Head of Hype and Culture’. As Head of Hype and Culture, Hughes will lead the charge on all agency-led output, putting the entire business in the spotlight and helping to tell the agency’s unique story. Hughes will be tasked with building the Truant brand, identifying new commercial opportunities and driving all agency comms and content. Prior to his three-year stint at Soho House, Hughes was an artist manager at Jackie Davidson Management working with WESLEE, Samm Henshaw, Malika and Dolapo. He is also a musician in his own right, featuring in London music collective, The Fedz.  Hughes has also been a key member of Soho Mentorship, providing opportunity and support to young creatives from disadvantaged backgrounds in London, alongside the Creative Mentor Network.

Blackjack Promotions is strengthening its senior leadership team with the appointment of Richard Simkins as Head of Creative Partnerships. Joining from a consultancy background, Simkins brings with him 20 years of experience in the creative industry. For the past decade, he has led innovation teams to devise and deliver outdoor advertising and experiential campaigns for some of the world’s most well-known brands. In his role at Blackjack Promotions, part of ABM, Simkins will be responsible for offering a wider range of industry-leading creative solutions to new and existing clients across the business portfolio.

Forcepoint has announced the appointment of three new members to the company’s Board of Directors, effective April 28, 2021. The new board members include BeyondTrust CEO Matt Dircks, Teleo Capital Operating Partner John McCormack, and Redhorse Corporation President Dr. John Zangardi. Matt Dircks has more than 25 years of experience in the software industry including business and product leadership roles with global technology brands including BMC Software, Quest Software, NetIQ Corp. and Citrix Systems. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of BeyondTrust leading the company’s long-term market and product strategy and day-to-day operations.

John McCormack has more than 25 years of experience as an executive in the cybersecurity and internet infrastructure industries. He currently serves on the Ping Identity Board of Directors (NYSE:PING), a role he has held since 2016. During his tenure, McCormack helped conduct the successful IPO of Ping Identity in September 2019. He also serves on the Board of NeuShield, an innovative ransomware solution, and as Operating Partner to Teleo Capital where he advises on acquisitions and value creation strategy.

John Zangardi, PhD is a nationally recognized information technology (IT) leader in both the private and public sectors including a distinguished career in government service spanning more than thirty years. Currently, Zangardi is President at Redhorse Corporation which helps clients address the challenges government faces today by utilizing sophisticated data science tools with artificial intelligence and machine learning to find new insights that accelerate decision-making. He previously served as Senior Vice President of business initiatives and strategic partnerships with Leidos Civil Group.

XPO Logistics has announced that Maryclaire Hammond will become the Chief Human Resources Officer of GXO Logistics, Inc., the intended spin-off of XPO’s logistics business. Hammond joined XPO in 2019 as senior vice president, human resources – Americas and Asia Pacific and oversees the employment culture of more than 22,000 employees in XPO’s logistics business. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience with Fortune 100 companies, including BP, where she served as human resources director for BP Fuel, North America. Previously, she was vice president, human resources for Honeywell Turbo Technologies in Switzerland and spent 14 years working in the UK.

WALLIX has expanded its channel team with the appointment of Yoann Delomier as Operational Technology (OT) Business Developer. In his new role, Delomier will be responsible for helping WALLIX to raise its presence in the industrial space. This will include building strategic alliances with partners specialising in industrial engineering, such as the recent Fives agreement. Delomier has over a decade of experience in the cyber security space and specialises in supporting industrial production environments. Before joining WALLIX, he spent most of his career at AXIANS, the French VINCI Energies brand dedicated to ICT solutions.

DoubleVerify has announced the appointment of James Cashmore as Senior Vice President, Global Client and Agency Partnerships. A 25-year digital industry veteran, Cashmore joins DoubleVerify after previously consulting with HUMAN (formerly White Ops). Earlier, Cashmore spent 15 years with Google, where he most recently served 4 years as Global Client Partner Director for APAC in Tokyo, leading a team that worked with some of the largest tech and automotive global brands. Prior to Google, Cashmore held positions at Technology Content publishing companies VNU and Ziff Davis. 

Alicja Lloyd has been promoted to the role of Global CEO of independent digital marketing agency, Feed. She takes over from Matt Lynch who becomes Executive Chair. Lloyd, who has 21 years’ industry experience, originally joined Feed in 2018 as its first Client Services Director and was promoted initially to Managing Director Europe, Deputy CEO and now Global CEO. Prior to joining Feed, Lloyd was Client Director at Digitas and spent five years prior to that at Critical Mass. In addition to leading Feed’s clients relationships, Lloyd is also responsible for Operations including staffing, DE&I, talent development, the agency’s budget and partnering with Lynch on driving agency culture. 

Global digital publisher, TheSoul Publishing, has appointed Patrik Wilkens as Vice President of Operations. As an executive leader in the digital and entertainment industry, Wilkens brings over 14 years of experience in managing teams, growing products, and building organizations. Previously, Wilkens served as Vice President of Mobile at Spilgames. The company was acquired by Azerion, where he continued in the role. In charge of 2 development studios, Wilkens set up a centralized operational structure that streamlined key departments including business intelligence, marketing, and technology services serving Azerion’s gaming studios.

UK-based secure cloud services provider, Six Degrees, has announced management changes to further strengthen the company’s growth ambitions. Effective from 1st May 2021, current CEO, David Howson, will become Chairperson of the Board and Simon Crawley-Trice, currently Practice Group Managing Director, will assume the role of CEO. Howson’s transition to Chair comes after four years as CEO during which time he has overseen Six Degrees’ transformation into the UK’s leading secure cloud services provider. Prior to joining Six Degrees in October 2020, Crawley-Trice was on the EMEA Executive team at Rackspace where he led their exponential growth in public cloud, application, data managed services and professional services propositions across EMEA and the USA. 

FluoretiQ Ltd. has announced the appointment of Mr. Kasra Saeb-Parsy Consultant Urologist with Cambridge (UK) University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as their Chief Medical Officer. Mr. Saeb-Parsy will oversee and lead all clinical development, regulatory and medical affairs strategies and activities of the Company.

Roy Williamson comes to Napier as EMEA Head of Sales with more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services arena, specialising in financial crime and fraud, as well as cyber and enterprise risk management. Having held senior management roles across a number of financial services solution vendors, including BAE Applied Intelligence, Fiserv and FIS, Williamson has a successful track record in leading teams and establishing new customer partnerships with clients across EMEA. These include retail and investment banks, asset managers, brokers, insurers, government bodies and corporates.
