Toluna has announced the appointment of Cate Rubenstein as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. With over 20 years of experience in marketing, creative,  brand strategy and a proven track record of success, Rubenstein will be responsible for expanding and elevating the Toluna brand as the company continues its rapid growth. Rubenstein previously served as Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Brand Strategy at Ipsos and brings an in-depth understanding of the consumer insights space. She has also led International Marketing Strategy for companies such as 20th Century FOX and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Fully-integrated creative agency, Leith, has expanded their award-winning health division team with two new appointments. John McPartland joins as Creative Director for all health Clients and Camilla Rossi joins Leith as Group Account Director. John McPartland has worked in the healthcare industry for over a decade; receiving numerous awards along the way including D&AD, Lion’s, Clio’s, Creative Floor, LIA’s and was the 2019 winner of Cannes Young Lions UK. His most recent work is the children’s book ‘Andi Goes’ which helps parents spot early signs of dyslexia, it has seen over 1,500 copies distributed and made its way into schools across the UK. He joins from Havas Lynx Group where he worked as Creative Director, with extensive experience on global brands across Dermatology, Oncology, Diabetes and Cardiovascular disease. Joining from her role as Group Account Director at McCann Health London, Rossi has over ten years of experience in healthcare advertising across a wide range of therapy areas, including vaccines, respiratory, oncology and medtech. An experienced client leader, having previously worked with GlaxoSmithKline, Boheringer Ingelheim and Philips; Rossi will help to grow business at Leith whilst playing a key role working with current clients including EFPIA.

C Space, the global customer agency, has announced the appointment of a Chief Technology Officer to its Executive Leadership Team. Alan Zall joins C Space from Cloud Technology Partners (CTP), a Hewlett Packard  Enterprise Company, in which he was Vice President of North America Cloud  Delivery supporting Fortune 100 customers across a wide range of verticals. Zall has extensive leadership and software engineering experience and has a strong track record of building and leading high-performance tech-led organizations. 

London-based Consumer tech marketplace aisle 3 has made two more senior hires as it embarks on its seed funding round. Dr. Pedro Balage has been named Director of Machine Learning and Dr. Luis Daniel López-Sánchez adds 10 years of practical knowledge to the Machine Learning team. Balage has a PhD in artificial intelligence and comes from a data science background having held a senior position at FarFetch. López-Sánchez is an Experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a PhD in Mathematics from Madrid University.

JDO is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Wierman as Client Director of the New York studio. In this role, Wierman will be supporting JDO’s roster of US-based clients in growing their brands through distinctive and transformative creative solutions. She will also work closely with JDO’s US Vice President Ellie Hansen in shaping the direction and growth of the award-winning agency’s studio in the US. A strategic leader with a robust background in marketing and account management, Wierman has worked on a number of large corporate visual identity and packaging rebrands including Campbell’s Soup, Samsung, BlackRock, Cadillac and Subway. Also joining the team in NY is Ben Ridley as Design Director. An exceptional talent, Ridley brings fresh perspective and energy to the role, as well as incredible experience working on some of American’s best-known brands including Snickers, M&M, Bud Light and Target. 

The Croc has hired former Sky Creative’s Rebecca Earp as Associate Creative Director. In her new role, Earp will oversee the copy team, assist in managing the creative department as well as working across new business opportunities. Earp will work closely with The Croc’s Creative Director Nick Watmough, bringing a fresh approach to B2B while supporting and delivering The Croc’s Fierce Thinking proposition. Earp joins The Croc having previously worked at Cineflix Media and Sky Creative, where she built compelling storytelling skills that connect with audiences on an emotional level.

Juggle Jobs, one of the UK’s most innovative flexible working start-ups, has appointed Vicki Fraser, formerly a director of product management at Skyscanner, as Chief Product Officer. Fraser has 15 years’ experience building product teams and will be responsible for leading the evolution of Juggle Jobs’ services as the business accelerates development after raising $2m from global VCs last year. 

Global socially-led creative agency We Are Social has promoted Shreyas Sukumar to paid media director in the UK. In his time at We Are Social, Sukumar has worked with brands spanning multiple sectors, from sport to fashion, retail to FMCG. He has brought a culture-first, strategic approach to paid media to the agency, helping it expand its offering for UK and global brands. In his new role Sukumar will lead the agency’s paid media team in the UK, looking to grow its client base both organically and through new relationships. Sukumar joined We Are Social 16 months ago as senior paid media manager. Prior to this, he worked at Mindshare’s Toronto office as senior account manager in paid social. 

Creative agency Brave announced that Caroline Paris will be promoted as Executive Creative Director. Paris joined the company in 2008 as an intern within the (back then) Billington Cartmell Group. She was made permanent within two weeks, and this marked the start of her career as a Junior AD. She worked her way up from that position over the last 13 years. She will report to Brave Managing Director Ash Bendelow. Paris’s appointment is the latest announcement as Brave bolsters its team following their office move to Covent Garden.
