Ad tech platform EXTE has appointed industry veteran Matthew Doherty as its Chief Executive Officer for North America. The appointment is part of the business’ continued international expansion, with EXTE now having a presence in 15 countries around the world.
Doherty, who joins from Teads, has taken up responsibility for the company’s commercial, strategic, and organisational strategy in North America. He spent almost six years at Teads – first as Vice President, Sales before his promotion to Senior Vice President, Sales.

Over his more than 16 years in the industry, Doherty has held commercial leadership positions at the likes of Adobe and TubeMogul, where he was responsible for developing and scaling multimillion dollar businesses. He also founded and launched several companies including Alchemy Media Partners and the non-profit Silicon Alley Foundation.
