NDA launches Signals, an “always-on” membership for adtech and martech brands

New Digital Age (NDA) has launched NDA Signals, an annual membership that gives adtech and martech firms, agencies and media owners a continuous presence within the NDA network. The programme is pitched as a pathway for businesses to move from being seen as “vendors” to being recognised as “industry contributors”, and as a simple way to stay visible, connected and considered across the industry.

The thinking behind the launch is that in a fast-moving marketing and media landscape, visibility alone is no longer enough. We know that the real advantage comes from proximity and ecosystem access, which it breaks down into three things: being known by the right people, being part of the right conversations, and being considered for the right opportunities.

“NDA Signals is not about volume,” says NDA’s Justin Pearse. “It’s about staying visible in the right places and creating a pathway into bigger opportunities over time.”

Membership gives businesses access to an audience which reaches more than 160,000 senior decision-makers and budget holders each month. The network has 24,176 followers across its social channels, 8,192 opt-in newsletter recipients and an average of 160,000+ monthly page views.

The audience is international, with the UK making up 39% and North America 32%, followed by Europe at 19% and the rest of the world at 10%. By sector, adtech accounts for 32%, brands 27%, publishers 21% and agencies 11%. On seniority, 57% are directors, 21% are managers and 22% fall into other roles.

The membership is built around three areas.

Executive visibility and thought leadership. Members receive three Executive Snapshots a year, which are short Q&A features with their senior leaders. These are published on NDA, included in the newsletter rotation and promoted across NDA’s social channels. Members also get preferred rates on NDA’s other bespoke services.

Amplification and newsroom access. Members are guaranteed publication of up to 10 press releases a year across NDA, covering announcements such as product launches, senior appointments and funding news. They also get “Editorial Desk Priority”, a direct route to the editorial team that bypasses generic submission boxes for faster review and publication.

Networking and community. Members receive invitations to selected NDA meetups and gatherings with peers and industry leaders. They can also engage with the audiences of NDA’s Media Pride, Digital Women and Money Talks initiatives through content and events.

We’ve built this membership around Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO). We know that AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews favour structured data and third-party news from authoritative sources over self-published content.

Publishing announcements through its platform creates an official third-party record that AI engines treat as validation of a business. It also expects members to appear more often in AI-generated answers about their sector, which it calls “share of model”. A question such as “What are the latest tools in martech measurement?” is one example. We also know  that AI engines tend to downgrade standard corporate blogs, so moving news and thought leadership to a verified media platform helps build the domain authority that modern search algorithms reward.

NDA Signals is offered as a single plan at a retainer of £200 per month on a 12-month contract. Payment is made monthly, upfront and before content is published. That works out at £2,400 over the year, for a package spanning executive features, press distribution, priority editorial access and community engagement.

NDA Signals is aimed at businesses that want a steady, credible presence rather than one-off campaigns. For an adtech or martech company, a regular cadence of leadership interviews and guaranteed news distribution could offer a predictable way to build authority. It also gives those businesses a route into the wider NDA community and its initiatives.

The programme’s emphasis on consistency reflects a broader shift in how companies are discovered. Buyers and journalists still look to trusted trade platforms, and increasingly AI tools do too, so third-party coverage from a recognised source carries weight in both.
