Integrated marketing and communications agency The 10 Group has announced two new hires: Executive Creative Director Greg Lappage, and Head of Social Nils Tomkins. Greg is joining The10 Group as the Executive Creative Director, heading up the new strategy division in developing creative product for clients. Up until December 2022, Greg worked at The Economist as Head of Creative Design & Production.
Communications agency Battenhall has appointed industry veteran Neil Meredith to the new role of Commercial Director. Meredith, who has more than 25 years’ experience building businesses in social media, gaming and sport will become Battenhall’s first Commercial Director. Reporting into Battenhall’s global CEO, Drew Benvie, and UK and EMEA MD, Rhian Robinson, Meredith will be responsible for spearheading strategic growth opportunities and key client relationships in the UK, EMEA, APAC and the US.
GumGum, a contextual-first, digital advertising platform, announced the hire of seasoned executive, Michelle Hulst, who will be joining GumGum as President. She will lead GumGum’s global advertising business as well as drive the worldwide adoption of GumGum’s platform for the future of digital advertising, The Mindset Platform™. Hulst will report to GumGum’s CEO Phil Schraeder.
Opening Doors, a leading UK charity for the over-50 LGBTQ+ community, has appointed Bridget Symonds as CEO and Jonathan Buckerfield as Deputy CEO and Head of Income Generation. Bridget Symonds brings more than a decade of experience in various charity roles, with the last five years dedicated to senior leadership positions. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and the head of a specialist domestic abuse service for older individuals, Bridget’s alignment with Opening Doors’ mission is evident.
TMW Unlimited, part of UNLIMITED, has announced three appointments in senior positions. Emma Norman has been promoted to Managing Director, Olivia Wedderburn has been promoted to Executive Social Influence Director, and Emma Banks has been hired as a Planning Director. Emma Norman has been promoted to Managing Director from her previous role as Chief Client Officer.
Total Media Group, the behavioural planning media agency, announces two additions to the board as James Cowing steps up to Chief Financial Officer and Sue Shaw joins as Non-Exec Chief People Officer. James joined the independent agency group at the start of 2008 and has worked his way up from Financial Assistant to CFO. Sue Shaw joins Total Media Group’s board as Non-Exec Chief People Officer.
Media Zoo, has appointed Giles Smith to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment comes as the business looks to build on its success of the last few years and continue its rapid expansion both in the UK and overseas.
