Independent creative company Atomic London has announced the appointment of Cat Davis to the newly created role of Group CMO. Davis brings over 20 years of experience leading growth and marketing efforts across some of the UK’s leading creative agencies. In her new role, Davis will oversee growth strategy, reputation and marketing across the full Atomic Orbit.

Fuse, the global sports and entertainment marketing agency part of Omnicom Media Group, has announced that Lucy Basden-Smith will be joining as Managing Director, further strengthening its world-class leadership team. Basden-Smith joins from Havas Play, where she had been Managing Director since January 2024. As Managing Director, she will be working closely and reporting into Fuse’s Global CEO, Louise Johnson, ensuring the agency continues to deliver innovative, insight-driven and measurable work.  Basden-Smith will be part of Fuse’s International Executive Leadership Team and the Global Steering Group, working closely with senior leaders to drive strategic alignment across the agency’s global footprint.

Social-first agency Campfire has boosted its senior leadership team with five strategic appointments. Nadin Wandi joins the business as head of content to deepen the agency’s creative and influencer capabilities. Rav Singh arrives as chief financial officer (CFO) to steer the financial strategy and unlock new investment. Meanwhile, Cassandra Morgan steps in as head of delivery to drive end-to-end operational excellence. Alice Stone will act as interim people director while continuing her role as head of people, charged with scaling Campfire’s thriving culture and talent pipeline. Finally, seasoned digital-marketing leader, Jim Brigden, acts as chairperson, providing strategic counsel as the agency accelerates its growth trajectory. 

Kantar Media announces the appointment of Rainer Fuchs to its Global Executive Team, effective September 8, 2025. In his new role as Chief Financial Officer, Fuchs will report to Global CEO, Patrick Béhar, to drive Kantar Media’s next phase of growth as an independent entity under H.I.G. Capital ownership. Fuchs joins Kantar Media with extensive experience in CFO roles at Superstruct Entertainment and CSM Sport & Entertainment. He also brings experience in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and consulting at Roland Berger.

Independent creative agency JOAN London has appointed Matthew Robinson as Managing Director, marking the next phase of the agency’s rapid growth since launching two years ago. Robinson and Kirsty Hathaway, Executive Creative Director at JOAN London, will work in close partnership to continue building on the agency’s strong momentum. As an agency leader with over 20 years of experience, Robinson has held senior leadership positions across both global networks and independents, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Anomaly, AMV BBDO and Joint, where he spent eight years as Partner & CEO. Most recently he was CEO at Modern Citizens.

Havas has announced the appointment of Alberto Canteli as Executive Chairman Africa, effective September 1st, in addition to his current responsibilities as Chairman and CEO of Havas Nordics, Benelux, Central & Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. With a strong track record in managing complex and diverse regions, Canteli brings both strategic vision and operational excellence to this key market. He has successfully led the deployment of Centers of Excellence in several regions worldwide, an experience that will be instrumental in accelerating our transformation and impact in Africa. 

Confluent, Inc., a data streaming pioneer, has announced Stephen Deasy as its Chief Technology Officer. Deasy will guide how Confluent builds and scales its platform, leading the engineering team’s vision, strategy, and day-to-day execution. He’ll focus on advancing Confluent’s data streaming platform to power more AI and real-time intelligence at global scale. Deasy brings more than 20 years of experience leading engineering at high-growth software companies. Most recently, he built Benchling’s global product and platform teams as the company’s CTO. 

TMW, part of Accenture Song, has promoted three of its senior staff to leadership positions. Business Director Kate Howarth has been promoted to Head of Client Services, Head of Planning for TMW, Paul Dazeley has been promoted to Group Head of Planning, and Planning Director Jos Ingram has been named Group Planning Director (CRM). These newly created roles highlight the outstanding achievements of the individuals and underscore the growing scale and strategic importance of their teams that have led to significant growth in the agency’s revenue and head count.

Havas Health Network  announced the appointment of two senior strategic leaders: Christina Stoddard as Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy, where she will lead strategy for global flagship clients, and Ayesha Walawalkar as Chief Strategy Officer for Havas Lynx UK. These hires reflect the network’s continued investment in integrated, audience-first thinking to power culturally resonant brand strategy across health and wellness.
