M+C Saatchi Group UK has appointed industry powerhouse Lisa Carrana to the newly created position of Executive Head of Art, marking the next stage in its mission to build Cultural Power through creativity and craft. Carrana brings more than 25 years of design experience, with a career spanning branding, advertising and integrated campaigns for some of the world’s most recognised brands. She has delivered award-winning work for Adidas, Just Eat, Xbox, Vodafone, Chivas Regal, Sky and eBay. She joins from Dentsu Creative, where she was UK Head of Design. In her new role, Carrana will define and uphold the Group’s visual identity and artistic standards, ensuring that M+C Saatchi sets the benchmark for craft across the industry. She will lead and mentor design talent, inspire creative ambition, and bring together art directors, designers, illustrators, photographers and other specialists to deliver standout work.
Integrated digital marketing and advertising agency Cheil UK has announced the appointment of Tony Mohammed as Growth Director. Mohammed was most recently Client Services Director and Growth Director at creative digital agency OMM, where he spent nine years and played a pivotal role in expanding the business globally. His work included creating breakthrough initiatives such as Nike’s Running Shoe Finder, and delivering innovative retail experiences for leading fashion, technology and sportswear brands. At Cheil UK, Mohammed’s remit is to unlock the agency’s next chapter of expansion. Social and influencer agency Jungle Creations today announces the appointment of Ed Knights as Executive Director of Growth. Reporting to the agency’s Chief Growth Officer, Jade Raad, Knights will help lead the agency’s growth strategy across new business and marketing. TrunkBBI, a creative and performance agency, has announced the strategic appointment of Matt Holmes as its new Performance and Innovation Strategy Director. Shake Content, a LinkedIn marketing agency, has announced the appointment of Dani Markovits as Chief Commercial Officer. Markovits joins from LinkedIn, where he served as Creator and Community Manager for EMEA. At LinkedIn, he helped build and scale its creator ecosystem, from onboarding global figures like Lewis Hamilton and C.S. Venkatakrishnan, Group Chief Executive at Barclays, to developing video programs and amplifying executive voices through editorial campaigns. At Shake, Markovits will lead growth strategy and commercial development.
Programmatic native ad platform Readpeak has made three senior appointments. Thomas Bailly joins as Head of International Growth, Helena Murphy as Agency Lead for the UK, and Charles Duquesne as Country Manager for France. Based out of London, Bailly, formerly of Microsoft, Twitter, Yahoo, and Pinterest, will spearhead Readpeak’s entry into four to six new territories annually, aiming for a global footprint of more than 25 markets by 2030. Murphy, joining from Hearst UK, will lead agency partnerships in the UK, while Duquesne, previously at The Trade Desk, will oversee Readpeak’s launch and growth in France.
