Meacher-Jones joins Iris from Accenture Song and Droga5 London, where they most recently held a senior leadership role spanning both businesses, acting as UKI lead for Song Social and later as Head of Social at Droga5 London. In this capacity, they were responsible for setting the strategic direction of social and influencer across the business, building and scaling capability, and embedding social-first, culturally led thinking into integrated campaigns and new business.
Media, marketing and technology company Brave Bison has announced the promotion of Ric Hayes to Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), marking a major step in the business’s ambition to lead the next evolution of marketing strategy for global brands. After three years as Group Strategy Director at SocialChain, Hayes will be stepping up to join Brave Bison’s executive leadership team, taking charge of a newly centralised strategy function across the three of the company’s agency brands: Brave Bison, SocialChain, and Engage Digital Partners. As CSO, he will continue to develop both the StrategyChain offer and Brave Bison’s FutureFit consultancy which combines strategic frameworks with proprietary AI tools to help brands decode complexity and identify and action growth opportunities at pace.

Billion Dollar Boy, the global, social-first agency, has announced the appointment of Piet Southey as US Managing Director – a newly created role that emphasizes the agency’s continued rapid growth and investment in the region. Southey joined Billion Dollar Boy more than seven years ago, beginning his career at the agency in Business Development before progressing into New Business positions. Most recently, he served as Head of Client Services, Europe. In his new role, Southey will relocate from the agency’s London headquarters to its New York City office in February. As US Managing Director, he is responsible for aligning and elevating the agency’s US client partnerships, scaling existing and new business opportunities, and leading Billion Dollar Boy’s 60-person US team.
