Taboola has appointed Julia Burton Brown as UK Country Manager. Burton Brown’s appointment follows Taboola’s recent announcement of a new focus beyond native advertising. After more than a decade pioneering native advertising, Taboola is extending its offering beyond this legacy with the introduction of Realize, an industry-first platform that specialises only in performance outcomes at scale beyond search and social. As Country Manager, Burton Brown will be responsible for overseeing this new focus across the UK. She previously held senior leadership roles at adtech business Inskin Media and online publisher AuFeminin. Most recently, she served as Managing Director at video versioning and content localisation platform ReMake.

Global sports and entertainment agency Fuse, part of Omnicom Media Group (OMG), has announced Marius Ramdahl as Head of Fuse Nordics. The creation of the new regional role follows the recent expansion of Fuse into Sweden and Finland. Through Fuse, OMG will leverage the growing potential of sports and entertainment marketing in the Nordics, offering consultancy services to support brand advertisers with their partnership needs. Ramdahl has been selected to lead the regional Fuse business unit from Oslo; the appointment will be an additional remit to his successful six-year tenure as Managing Director of Fuse Norway.

AML Group, the London-based creative agency, has boosted its strategy team with the appointment of Nicola Davies as Senior Strategist. Before joining AML, Davies was the strategic lead at Innovation Kitchen driving brand innovation across diverse global markets including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and India. Prior to that, she worked for Bulletproof in Singapore delivering brand strategies for leading FMCG, finance and tech companies. Key clients to date include – Mondelez, Nestlé, Diageo, Asahi, and Abbott. Davies will work across AML’s broad portfolio of global clients which include: Vanguard, Aberdeen Investments and BNP Paribas.

AI-powered ad campaign platform Creatopy has appointed Maikao Grare as its new Chief Financial Officer. Grare brings more than 20 years of experience scaling high-growth startups. She has a strong track record of building finance teams from the ground up and helping companies grow into multi-million dollar businesses. At Creatopy, she will help accelerate the company’s momentum, shape long-term strategy, and support international expansion. Most recently, Grare served as Vice President of FP&A and Strategic Finance at MasterClass. Previously, she was SVP of Finance at Picsart, where she was pivotal in the company’s international expansion and path to unicorn valuation. Grare has also held top finance roles at Bolt Threads (IPO in 2024), Rdio (acquired by Pandora), and Skype (acquired by eBay).

Experience marketing agency George P. Johnson (GPJ) has promoted Fiona Bruder to Global Chief Executive Officer. Bruder takes the helm from Chris Meyer who after 12 years leading GPJ, was recently appointed CEO of Project, GPJ’s parent company. Meyer will continue to support Bruder during the transition and will assume the role of GPJ’s Strategic Executive Advisor. The leadership changes are effective May 1, 2025. Formerly the President of Americas for GPJ, Bruder’s leadership during COVID was instrumental in the company’s successful pivot to virtual and hybrid events and then massive recovery growth.  

Product experience platform Salsify has appointed Lisa Schrumpf as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this role, Schrumpf will lead the company’s global commercial organisation — including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, Retail, and Partnerships — with a focus on aligning teams, deepening customer value, and accelerating scalable growth. With over two decades of experience building and leading go-to-market teams across high-growth SaaS businesses and global enterprises, Schrumpf brings a strong track record of commercial transformation. Most recently, she served as SVP of Sales at Intercom, and she held senior leadership positions at DataStax, SAP, and IBM. At Salsify, Schrumpf will focus on uniting the company’s commercial functions under a shared vision that supports Salsify’s mission to help brands and retailers win on the digital shelf. 

Product and brand studio &above has announced the appointment of Phil Miles as Non-Executive Chairman as the business moves towards a new phase of development. Miles spent 17 years working at Google, most recently as YouTube’s UK Head of Sales and is a long-time supporter of &above.  With a strong history in tech and advertising, Miles has been operating his own consultancy business since 2023 and, throughout the years, he has ssupported the evolution of &above in a strategic and advisory position. With his strong industry knowledge and experience, Miles can bring a new perspective to the business, helping to more efficiently unite the two arms – brand and product – of &above as it moves towards its long-term goals of tripling revenue and building IP.
