Spark Foundry names Rebecca Candeland as new Head of AV

Spark Foundry, part of Publicis Media, has today announced that Rebecca Candeland has been appointed to the role of Head of AV.

Replacing Tim Greene, who previously held this role, Rebecca will report into Lee Lythe, Spark Foundry’s Chief Investment Officer, who is currently on maternity leave, and oversee a team of nearly 40 people.

In the new role, Rebecca will be responsible for delivering best in class AV activity by driving added value opportunities for clients. This will be coupled with developing and applying knowledge alongside the promotion of all new services and products, including PMX LIFT. She re-joins the agency from Total Media where she held the role of Head of Broadcast since April last year. Prior to working at Total Media, Rebecca was at Blue449, which then became Spark Foundry following the merger, for just over a decade.

Starting on Monday 13th June, Rebecca will work closely with Charlotte Taylor, Spark Foundry’s Head of Publishing & Audio and Publicis Media’s central trading team, Publicis Media Exchange (PMX), led by Steve Bignell.

Rebecca Candeland, Head of AV at Spark Foundry UK said: “Spark Foundry has been on an incredible journey over the past few years, and with such a talented team, market-leading capabilities and some phenomenal recent new business wins under their belt, I can’t wait to return and be a part of its next chapter.”

Pete Edwards, CEO, Spark Foundry UK said: “Rebecca is one of a number of people returning to the agency, including Katharine Baker who returned earlier this year to take up the role of Chief Client Officer, and I couldn’t be more pleased. After a stint away, Rebecca brings with her an even deeper understanding of what the AV marketing space can offer and how TV can help accelerate our client’s businesses. I can’t wait to see her get stuck in and apply this knowledge to the new role.”
