Talent Tracker: Brandtech, Impact+, Wildstone, and Deployteq

The Brandtech Group has appointed Rachel Barnes, former marketing lead at Wolff Olins and UK Editor of Campaign, as Director of Communications. The hire strengthens its global communications team as the group continues to cement its position in generative AI for marketing. Barnes will build on Brandtech’s long-standing history in AI, which it has invested in since 2016, as well as focusing on its generative AI marketing platform, Pencil. She will work closely with Brandtech Associate Partner Louise Jack, who leads Group comms, building a strategically coherent suite of content drawn from leaders across the group who are experts in generative AI and other technologies. At Wolff Olins, where Barnes was Marketing and Content Director, she helped to relaunch the company’s brand. Barnes’ comms career follows an 18-year stint in journalism.

Sustaintech plaform Impact+ has announced it has hired Séverine Loeuille as its new Global Marketing Director. Loeuille, who has worked in digital marketing for a decade for companies including Converteo and Integral Ad Science, will lead the platform’s marketing function. Responsibilities include driving Impact+’s lead-gen strategy, developing and implementing the company’s marketing activations and supporting long-term international growth. She will be based at the company’s Paris headquarters and will report directly to Yann Le Roux, Impact+’s VP, Sales & Partnerships. Before joining Impact+, Loeuille was CRM Manager at Converteo, where she was responsible for supervising clients’ martech projects, including helping them to use CRM data to enhance their understanding of their customers and optimise their marketing campaigns. Prior to that, she was a Senior Marketing Operations Manager at Integral Ad Science, helping to support the company’s growth overseas.

Wildstone, an outdoor media infrastructure owner, has appointed Noel Cook to be its Managing Director of Australia, as it expands beyond the UK and Europe. Cook will be responsible for establishing and expanding Wildstone’s footprint across the region. He has over 30 years of leadership experience in Australia’s OOH sector, including his role as a Co-founder of oOh! Media, which is an OOH advertising company in Australia and New Zealand with a network of more than 35,000 locations. In addition to his track record in OOH sales, operations, production, digital conversions, and site development, Cook has undertaken over 30 outdoor advertising M&A transactions and has served as a board member of Australia’s Outdoor Media Association.

Marketing automation provider Deployteq has expanded its team through the hire of Jorg Boutkan as its new Head of Partnerships to ramp up global operations. In his new role, Boutkan will bring his years of experience as a channel manager to develop new partnerships, both agency and technical, as well as lead and support Deployteq’s current partner community. Boutkan brings a wealth of expertise in the information technology and services industry including a six-year period at Qmatic, responsible for maintaining and expanding sales channels across Europe, building relationships in the UK, USA, Netherlands, Belgium and West Europe.
