Wavemaker has partnered with AXA UK on the latest brand campaign in its ‘Why Should the Future be a Risk?’ series. The film was created by Publicis Conseil. Conseil in Paris and shines a spotlight on AXA’s insurance offering for SMEs. The campaign’s media activation will run across a range of touchpoints including TV, video on demand, out-of-home (OOH), and radio, alongside digital activations. The radio campaign, developed by Leo Burnett, plays a pivotal role in reaching self-employed professionals. The campaign will run until mid-November.

Marriott International has launched its first bespoke EMEA campaign to showcase Marriott Bonvoy’s 30+ hotel brand portfolio across 10,000 destinations. This includes the three portfolio brands selected, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, JW Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott. This campaign is Marriott International’s biggest regional investment yet. A series of market-specific ads in the UK, Germany and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been created by Chief Productions in association with Sting Films, a specialist division of TBWA\MCR. The creative evolves the brand’s positioning of “Roam Around the World: Where Can We Take You?” The campaign centres on a magical hotel lift that transports the audience into a world of hotel brands. Marriott International also collaborated with networked experience agency Digitas to drive impact.

Digital media, marketing, and technology company Brave Bison has renewed its contract with the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and Women’s Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) for an additional 12 months. This follows a three-year tenure that saw the Caribbean’s leading cricket organisation supported by Brave Bison’s sports entity, Media Network. Brave Bison’s focus will revolve heavily around content strategy, production, and channel management for the CPL YouTube Channel.

Creative production agency Transmission has launched a new creative campaign for children’s supplementary education provider Kumon’s digital learning platform, Kumon Connect. The campaign highlights the individualised maths and English learning programmes for children. Transmission was tasked with boosting awareness of the free trial to parents and help demonstrate how Kumon is adapting to modern educational needs. The creative centres around the evolution of learning, starting with an animated pencil drawing people on the page. The pencil transitions into a tablet pen to show that Kumon is modernising with Kumon Connect. The campaign will be executed across multiple platforms, including TV, online, and social media.

Independent marketing services and technology company PMG has announced the transition of the RocketMill brand to PMG, as the integration of the two businesses completes. The move creates a business of 900+ marketing and technology specialists, across strategy, media, creative, and data/analytics. PMG acquired the UK-based agency last December. The portfolio of clients includes Apple, BYD, Dropbox, Experian, Kimberly-Clark, Nike, and Travelex.

Performance agency Nest Commerce has been appointed by independent book publisher The Folio Society to manage its paid social and search activity. Nest will support The Folio Society in driving expansion in the UK. Established in 1947, The Folio Society is an employee-owned, independent publisher that crafts high quality, illustrated editions. The strategy will encompass platforms including Google, Meta, and TikTok.

In celebration of the global creative community, nonprofit organisation The One Club for Creativity has teamed together with creative and media agency Cutwater to launch an integrated campaign for The One Show, an advertising and design award show. The campaign, entitled “The Creative Award for Creative Creatives,” kicks off the 2025 call for entries

Two experienced media agency professionals have launched a new venture in Leeds. Invested is the brainchild of Will Hughes and Chris Quinn, who first worked together as graduates at Brilliant Media 14 years ago. Following a decade at different agencies, most recently the duo both held senior positions together at IMA. They have worked with brands including Wren Kitchens, Expedia, First Bus, Flutter Group, Marriott and WWF. Services offered by the new agency include media strategy; above-the-line media; performance/ digital media; media measurement; auditing and consultation; and training. Launch clients include Luminate Education Group, Brass Monkey, and Lightspeed Broadband.
