Creative network Iris Worldwide has promoted Marie Little to Global Chief Health Officer. Reporting to Iris London CEO Zoe Eagle, Little will oversee the execution of Iris’ healthcare strategy. She will collaborate with the agency’s experts across consulting, brand strategy, data, social, creative, and technology to develop a participative approach to problem-solving in the healthcare sector. Little, who joined Iris in 2024 as Managing Director of Iris’ Health offering, has over two decades of experience in the healthcare marketing and communications. In her new role, she will lead Iris’ healthcare division, responsible for developing the roadmap for growth and guiding key global accounts across the agency’s network. Prior to Iris, Little held senior roles at Open Health and Bedrock Healthcare Communications.
Digital media measurement platform DoubleVerify has announced the launch of its News Accelerator programme, which aims to foster partnerships and feedback loops with news publishers of all sizes and educate the industry on how to balance brand suitability with the brand-building opportunity presented by news content. With the launch of the programme, DV has appointed Jack Marshall as the company’s Head of News. Marshall, with two decades of experience in digital media journalism and publishing, will lead DV’s efforts in the news sector. He has held senior reporting and editorial roles at publications including The Wall Street Journal and Digiday. Before joining DV, he co-founded and led Toolkits, a media company focused on publisher monetisation and exploring how media companies can effectively and sustainably monetise digital content.
Naren Patel, formerly Managing Director of out-of-home media owner Primesight, has joined OOH Capital, an out-of-home advisory company. Patel was appointed Managing Director of Primesight in 1995 and then floated the business on the London Stock Exchange. Two years later, he sold Primesight to STV, but then led a management buyout of the company. In 2018, he sold the business to Global Radio, later exiting the company in 2020. Patel is deeply committed to improving ethnic diversity within the media sector. In 2018, he founded Media for All, a social enterprise dedicated to mentoring and supporting Black, Asian, and other ethnic minority talent in the media and advertising industries. He is also chair of the advertising charity NABS.
Modern Citizens, the agency developed out of a merger between Creature London, Positive London, and Positive Netherlands, has announced the additions of Tom White, Chief Strategy Officer, and Pumie Msengana, Managing Partner, to its senior leadership team. Reporting to CEO Matthew Robinson, White will lead the strategy team, building on Modern Citizens’ capabilities and evolving the agency’s long-term strategic approach. He previously worked as CSO at AMVBBDO. Msengana brings with her over 20 years’ experience in developing teams, agency partners, and clients. Since moving to the UK from South Africa in 2011, she has had stints at agencies including M&C Saatchi, WCRS and, most recently, Ogilvy, where she held positions including Global Business Director and Global Client Partner. Msengana has led brands including Philadelphia, Dove, Vodafone, and Santander, as well as several pro bono clients, including Girl Up, UK Black Pride, and World Afro Day.
Contentful, a composable content platform, has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Maxson as Chief Marketing Officer. Maxson brings nearly two decades of integrated marketing leadership. Most recently, she led global go-to-market strategy and end-to-end marketing initiatives as CMO for Tableau, a Salesforce company. Maxson is tasked with helping Contentful’s costumers navigate the content marketing space and the growing impact of AI.
The MACH Alliance, a not-for-profit industry body, has announced a series of appointments to its Executive Board. Bob Howland, previously Chief Digital Officer of Dawn Foods, will serve as Chairperson of the MACH Alliance Executive Board providing the organisation with an external perspective to underpin its strategy and priorities, and setting clear accountability and expectations of the Alliance as a neutral body. Joining Howland on the board are Casper Rasmussen, Global SVP at Valtech; Dom Selvon, CTO at Apply Digital; Kimberly Matenchuk, Managing Director at Cloudinary; and Malte Ubl, CTO at Vercel. Jasmin Guthmann and Krithika Ganesamoorthi will continue on the board and have also been appointed Co-Vice Presidents. Finally, Amer Ali, VP of Finance at Netlify, has been appointed as the Alliance’s Treasurer.
