Uber Ads sets up Manchester office

Ride-hailing and food delivery giant Uber has opened a new office in the North of England for its advertising division.

Two years after launching Uber Advertising in the UK, the business has decided to increase investment in the market, having achieved its target of $1 billion global revenue rate ahead of schedule. By setting up shop in Manchester, the second largest British media-buying city, Uber is looking to better connect consumers with advertisers at both a national and local level.

“The opening of our Manchester office is a testament to the success of Uber’s advertising business in the UK in its first two years, and demonstrates our continued investment in critical UK media-buying centres such as Manchester,” said Paul Wright, Head of Uber Advertising International. “This regional hub will help us meet demand, enhancing our ability to support and service both national and Manchester-based clients with Uber’s advertising solutions.”

Denise Breslin, UK&I Sales Lead at Uber Advertising, will spearhead the expansion of the Manchester office, including hiring personnel and growing Uber’s market footprint. She is also tasked with building awareness of Uber’s latest product developments through the fostering of new relationships and strengthening of existing ones with national and Manchester-based clients.
