NDA Agency News: Initials CX, The Specialist Works, Fox Agency and more

Veezu, the private hire technology platform in the UK, has announced its new rebrand delivered by Customer Experience Agency Initials CX. The new work will communicate Veezu’s rebrand, whilst driving awareness and loyalty. Initials CX was tasked with creating a whole new brand identity, including a new brand platform, brand guide and comms plan to provide Veezu with a clear purpose, thereby increasing awareness and loyalty in four key communities – Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Chippenham. The debut campaign will utilise OOH media, supported by digital comms. By establishing a differentiated and meaningful market positioning for the Veezu core brand, the overarching goal for Initials CX was to help increase bookings and app downloads. The agency was also tasked with improving the brand messaging to not only provide awareness of the functional ability of Veezu (offering rides to those in need of them), but also the emotional benefit of using a local company that invests in the community.

Independent media agency for dynamic growth brands, The Specialist Works, has been appointed TV agency of record for Neilson Financial Services, provider of direct-to-consumer life insurance, replacing incumbent Starcom. The appointment will see The Specialist Works take an audience-first approach to TV campaigns and drive efficient response across the entire portfolio of Neilson Financial Services brands, including British Seniors and Smart Insurance. The debut work launches with a TV campaign for a new brand launch, Cover Today. The campaign will drive policy sales and recruit the next generation of customers. It will use [mint]av, the agency’s proprietary attribution technology, to provide meaningful insights into the campaign’s efficacy.

B2B tech marketing specialist Fox Agency is expanding its SaaS portfolio further with a trio of new client appointments. The integrated agency welcomes ZenooSyrenis and Piper to its portfolio. Zenoo is an onboarding platform which facilitates smooth customer journeys for organisations within global markets; including legal, financial services, and wealth management. The Piper platform provides managers with integrated tools, data and contextual learning resources, and for Syrenis, Fox Agency will be working on its company’s flagship consent and preference management solution CASSIE. The Association of British Insurers (ABI), the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association (PLSA) and Teamspirit, the financial services integrated communications agency, have launched a new brand platform to call on the nation to ‘Pay Your Pension Some Attention’. The campaign is an unprecedented, industry-led engagement campaign funded by a large proportion of the pensions industry and is the first chapter in a three-year behaviour change Pension Attention program. The aim is to raise awareness of pensions and improve engagement rates across the working population. Teamspirit created and led the integrated campaign with media planning and buying from sister agency VCCP Media and additional support from production studio, Girl&Bear. The centrepiece of the campaign is an original track with supporting film ‘Pay Attention’ which takes the form of a music video and reveals UK Grime star Big Zuu as the new ambassador. The film shows Big Zuu encouraging listeners to pay attention, ask questions and think about future intentions, offering a refreshing and catchy take on a topic misunderstood by many.

Virgin Media together with VCCP London has released ‘Why walk when you can ride?’ an integrated brand campaign to launch Virgin Media’s WiFi guarantee, demonstrating the internet provider’s commitment to delivering superior connectivity, reliability, and speed. The light-hearted and playful campaign will roll out throughout the UK across multiple formats and leads with a hero 60” film, ‘Highland Rider’, directed by award-winning director, Jeff Low and will premiere during the England Women’s international friendly football match against the USA on ITV. Supported by a 30” spot, the film depicts the story of a highland cow who, inspired by epic biking scenes she’s seen streamed over Virgin Media WiFi, goes to better and beyond by taking to the tarmac on a motorbike.
