Bazaarvoice has named former Shopify and Amazon VP Colin Bodell as Chief Technology Officer. Bodell brings over 25 years of experience, including 8 years at Amazon, where he led the Amazon website platform scaling from $8 billion to $200 billion. He’s also served as CTO at the likes of Groupon and American Eagle Outfitters. With 11 patents to his name, he joins Bazaarvoice to accelerate the company’s global technological innovation as the consumer-to-consumer economy evolves and it strives to make shopping radically transparent through user-generated content.
Vectra has announced two new EMEA leadership appointments. The announcement sees Teppo Halonen appointed as Vice President of EMEA and Christian Borst appointed as Chief Technical Officer of EMEA. Both Teppo and Christian will align with customers and channel partners to progress security strategies, and help organisations to secure their digital transformation and cloud adoption journeys. Teppo previously held the role of Regional Director for North Europe at Vectra and will use his expertise and familiarity with customers to develop cybersecurity strategies amidst increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. Christian boasts wide-ranging cybersecurity knowledge having previously worked as Senior Manager & Head of Cyber Offense for European management consulting firm AWK Group, Christian is also a Senior Fellow of the Bocconi Business School Corporate Information Security Roundtable. Christian will become Vectra’s second EMEA CTO, working alongside existing EMEA CTO Steve Cottrell.
Charlotte Seagers joins Ozone as Head of Customer Success, previously holding the role of Senior Account Manager & Team Lead at Beeswax, acquired by Comcast’s Freewheel in late 2020. Charlotte previously held senior roles at Rezonence where she finished her time as VP of Platform. Antonio Nunes starts the new role of Head of Data Science, joining Ozone from QBE Europe where he was Lead Data Scientist. With both hires mark a strong expansion to Ozone’s talent pool. Prior to joining QBE Europe, Antonio held the same role at The Telegraph and before that was an Analytics Solutions Specialist for Telefónica.
Boldspace appoints Dan Pillay as Head of Product to lead growth of data platform, BoldLensTM. Pillay brings 12 years’ experience across data, analytics and scaling SaaS (software-as-a-service) platforms to the business, joining from CampaignHero, the integrated advertising campaign platform, where he led all aspects of the product. He started his career agency-side at research firm, Toluna, before spells with Microsoft’s’ Munich-based shopping comparison service Ciao and then CK NET in London. He moved to Broadplace, which owns CampaignHero, in 2013 before becoming Head of Operations in 2015 and leading the data platform since 2020.
Steve Lidbury joins Imagination as the new Executive Creative Director for the UK and Europe and will work across a variety of clients to push creative innovation forwards and deliver outstanding brand experiences. Steve joins from Eight Inc. London where he worked as the Executive Principal, delivering holistic brand experiences and strategic brand consulting across a diverse range of projects. He has a firm grounding in Imagination’s clients, having previously worked with the agency from 2010-2015 where he led the creative team across the Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce Motors Cars, Aston Martin and Mazda businesses.

Rebecca joins with over 25 years of experience working in digital transformation across the payments, fintech and software sectors, and most notably spent six years working in Leadership roles at Fiserv, the global fintech and payments company. Rebecca has also held senior roles at Intuit, QV Systems and Digital Insight.
