The speaker lineup for the opening panel discussion at NDA’s Media Pride Lunch, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community working in advertising & marketing, has been revealed.
The panel discussion opening the event on 26 September includes: Laura Jordan Bambach, past D&AD President, co-founder of SheSays and OKO, and most recently President and Chief Creative Officer at Uncharted; Jerry Daykin, WFA Diversity Ambassador; and Marty Davies, Cultural strategist, activist, Campaign columnist and founder of Trans+ History Week.
The Media Pride 2024 event is held in partnership with Outvertising and supported by Boots and Publicis.
The panel will be debating the biggest opportunities, and challenges presented in our industry for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Part of NDA’s ongoing Media Pride initiative, the event itself is an afternoon of food, drinks and great conversation to give those within the community – and their allies – a chance to come together.
“Last year’s Media Pride lunch was one of my highlights of last year and I can’t wait to do it all again this year,” said NDA Editor Justin Pearse. “The combination of a panel of leading thinkers in the LGBTQIA+ community, a great lunch and an atmosphere of celebration is hard to beat!”
