Digital marketing & media agency Anything is Possible has announced that Ravi Adelekan has been honoured with the prestigious Pride of Britain – Child of Courage award. This accolade recognises Ravi’s exceptional resilience and dedication to making the world a better place.
The journey began when Ravi shared his heartfelt aspiration with Anything is Possible in November 2022: to sing for charity and support children facing the challenges of brain tumours. The Anything is Possible team was deeply moved by his vision, and they immediately joined him on this inspiring mission.
Together, they orchestrated an integrated media strategy, leveraging creative expertise to turn Ravi’s dream into a resounding success. Major publishers, including Sky, ITV, Evolve/Clear Channel, The Times, Reach, Snapchat, Google, Microsoft, Reddit, Amazon, and Global PR, joined them by donating free inventory to create an awareness and promotion campaign worthy of the cause.
The stage was set, and Ravi collaborated with international stars like Paloma Faith, Damon Albarn, Björn from ABBA, Mary Berry, Coldplay, Bastille, The Big Moon, Metronomy, and many more to create a charity music video for his cover of ‘A Million Dreams’ from The Greatest Showman.
Since the release of his charity single, Ravi and his family have made remarkable strides in their fundraising efforts, raising £87,000 so far. Since the launch of the Ravi’s Dream campaign, Ravi has also hosted events at Soho House and The House of Commons, as well as a star studded Charity Football Match.
In June 2023 Ravi won gold at the More Radio Child of Sussex Awards and continues to receive well earned recognition from near and far for his amazing fundraising efforts.
Ravi’s hope remains unwavering – to fund life changing research into diagnostics and treatment for brain tumours, and make exceptional care accessible to all.
