St-Germain partners with Pinterest on immersive cocktail experience

Liqueur brand St-Germain has teamed up with Pinterest to deliver a ‘first-of-its-kind’ immersive and interactive experience that serves up cocktail inspiration for consumers.

The campaign – aimed at Pinterest users who are looking for cocktail inspiration, bartender hacks, and ways to elevate their drinks – features a video unit that prompts Pinners to make three choices as they build their own custom cocktail. The video changes and responds in real-time based on the selections made by the user.

The partnership is the first that has been replicated across multiple countries, including the UK, US, Canada, France, and Italy.

“We are thrilled to be embarking on this innovative partnership with Pinterest,” said Emma Fox, Global Vice President of St-Germain. ” St-Germain brings a little extra je-ne-sais-quoi to your favourite cocktail. We like to say it’s the extra virgin olive oil for your home bar, just a dash effortlessly elevates any cocktail recipe. As Pinterest is where people go to be inspired, this first-of-its-kind cocktail experience, will provide people the perfect opportunity to personalize their cocktail creations and discover new ways to make cocktail blooms with St-Germain.”

According to research from Pinterest, eight in 10 shoppers discover new food and beverage products or brands on the platform, with the same shoppers nine times more likely to say that Pinterest is the most influential social media platform in their purchase journey.
