Dismantling brand privilege: Stephanie Bell, Avon

“I’m privileged enough to have a position where I can create change, I work for a brand that wants to do the same”, said Stephanie Bell, Executive Director of Marketing Procurement at Avon, in her 99-second talk as a part of the 99//Club digital festival. “I need to own the commitments and actions, and that’s my brand privilege”

In the video below, Stephanie runs through her action plan for dismantling her own brand privilege, including educating herself, affecting policy at her brand and making the commitment to change.

The week-long invite-only festival was a collaboration between MAD//Fest and New Digital Age. Over the course of five days 99 speakers debated topics across themes including media and tech, customer experience and personalisation, brand experience and creativity and innovation for growth.
