TikTok has launched a promotional solution that drives community on the app and makes it easier for film and TV studios to leverage the platform for upcoming releases and library content. TikTok Spotlight provides a platform for entertainment marketers to drive audiences to a dedicated landing page, featuring more details such as synopsis, cast, official accounts, and a collection of other creator content linked to the same title; encourage authentic content creation from the creator community; and gain insights into their fans via an analytics dashboard.

Heineken UK has partnered with tech consultancy AND Digital to launch HeiDeal – a data-driven platform aimed at transforming how Heineken’s sales teams build contracts. HeiDeal models multiple deal scenarios that optimise margin, profitability and product mix, making it simpler for Heineken teams to supply pubs and venues with its products. The platform is the result of 18 months of AND Digital being fully embedded within Heineken’s teams, delivering a digital transformation programme including digital upskilling, workshops, and training.

Content studio and digital media network, Little Dot Studios, has announced that its German office  has signed a partnership with Studio71, ProSiebenSat.1’s digital media and entertainment company, to launch two channel brands on the free streaming service JOYN. Selected content from Little Dot Studios’ Real Stories Germany and Real Crime Germany channels, will be available to stream in full length on JOYN via its app and website.

Dotdigital, a marketing technology provider, has unveiled results from its first global CMO report, surveying marketing professionals. The report highlights the trends disrupting the digital marketing landscape in 2024. The company gathered insights from more than 750 marketing leaders across the UK, US, and Australia, spanning 13 industry sectors. Key themes identified include adaptability, the AI divide, engagement, and innovation. The report reveals that a third of marketers see AI as a major challenge, almost half of marketers are not fully prepared for data regulation changes, 28% of marketers view a lack of AI knowledge as a top concern for their teams, and 30% of marketers say social media and email marketing yield the best ROI.

Screenverse, a programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) network, has partnered with Vertical Impression, an elevator digital signage network. Screenverse will combine its expertise in programmatic sales and ad management with Vertical Impression’s platform in a bid to enhance the effectiveness of elevator advertising campaigns. Vertical Impression inventory is now available on Vistar, Place Exchange, Broadsign, and Hivestack. Sales will be facilitated through direct, open exchange, and private marketplaces.

Userled – an AI-powered B2B marketing startup – has raised £4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by LocalGlobe, with participation from Dig Ventures. Founded in 2023 by Yann Sarfati (Revive, former sales lead at Salesforce, and Incident.io) and Tristan Saunders (Revive, tech lead at American Express, and lead software engineer at nate), Userled automates the creation and distribution of tailored, branded marketing campaigns.
